Eastern Fox Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Getting rid of the worst manager in the club's history would be a good start.
Moreton Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Title says it all... League 1 Title. Paint Trophy. Has to happen.
hebangsthedrums Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Ollie out Monday, a few mutual terminations tuesday, some (non playing) staff redundancies wednesday.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Disagree...consistency, even if we've gone down. The only thing that matters to me is that we WILL WE BACK AGAIN...one day. WE WILL.

Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Get the kids in, Sappleton, Chambers, King, Weso, Beswick Gradel, and whoever else. Nice one Mandaric, you've fooked up our club.
step Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Disagree...consistency, even if we've gone down. The only thing that matters to me is that we WILL WE BACK AGAIN...one day. WE WILL. What a load of balls Everyone wanted effing consistancy. well that is what you got. Support ollie and his consistancy was what the fans wanted. Well the willy puller has delivered constancy everyone craved. Good aint it? Shall we stay with ollie for more consistancy? and more shite? Yes lets have more shite for the sake of consistancy. More shite, more consistancy and some more consistant shite. What a load of bollocks. Twats Holloway out
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 1) We ship out the shite. 2) We get the best god damned players we can find for a league one level. 3) We get ourselves promoted. 4) We get the best god damned players we can find for a Championship level. 5) We get ourselves promoted. 6) We get the best god damned players we can find for a Premier League level. Repeat ad infinitum.
Mack Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 We are going to be a big scalp next season, all our opponents at the Walkers will be raising their game. If we get out of league one within 3 years we will have had a lucky escape, it is a highly competative, rough and tumble fast football that does not allow players of skill any time. Crude football can be very effective, if you keep it simple with the right attitude then you can do OK. If you start that league with the attitude that you will piss it and go straight back up you will get rolled over very quickly.
Corky Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 I honestly do not know what is going to happen next. I am fearing League 1.
AoWW Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Who fancy's a night out in Loughborough??? Most of the players will probably be out. (sorry, should have read the rest of the thread - if someone could piss/gob in their drinks I'd be most appreciative!)
Thracian Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Get the kids in, Sappleton, Chambers, King, Weso, Beswick Gradel, and whoever else. Nice one Mandaric, you've fooked up our club. I don't remember you being a champion of the youngsters any time previously.
Ricey Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Ship out the crap. Howard, Hayles, Douglas, Stearman, Campbell etc. Give the youngesters a go. Mattock, Worley, King, Gradel, Chambers etc Now's our time to develop some quality players.
Rednotdead Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 League 1. No football is played. The ball spends most of the time in the air. The teams that are successful are well organised, especially at the back and have a big lad up front who can get you a few goals. Dont try to finesse your way out of this league or you'll get battered. I would be surprised if you can get out in one go because you will be a major scalp and you need to get used to playing at that level. Its a different game altogether. The idea about playing kids would be a mistake. Its a mans league. Pace is always good if you can find it though. Good Luck. With the money/fans you have you will be back but it may not be immediately. Regards, a Barnsley fan
DB11 Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 MM will hopefully assure Ollie of his job so Ollie can plan for next season and not be thinking "I'm gonna get sacked so why should I bother trying to fix the problem"

lookwhaticando Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 MM will hopefully assure Ollie of his job so Ollie can plan for next season and not be thinking "I'm gonna get sacked so why should I bother trying to fix the problem" Alternatively he could be sacked later tonight and a new guy appointed without haste, giving him plenty of time to fix the problem. Ollie might not have time to worry about whether he has to bother fixing the problem... he might be removed before his feet touch the ground.
