Andy Cole is looking as if he is retiring but if he doesn't he will be gone to Burnley. Ian Harte only as a replacement for Mattock if he goes, Stephen Wright - NO! and i wouldn't mind Varga on a 1-year contract.

I always liked Stewart and he always seemed to give 100% which is more than most others in the last few seasons have done. If Clapham is not signed we'll need a new left-back. I'll be gobsmacked if Mattock doesn't move during the summer to rot in the reserves of a mediocre premiership team like West Ham.

I have a mate who knows a lot about the goings on at Watford and he says that the reason for their atrocious slide in form is because of a few players, including Stewart causing unrest around the club. I wouldn't take him back - No way!

He probably thinks he's too big for League 1 but we could at least make him an offer. We're desperately short of left-sided players and Mattock's probable departure will make that problem worse.

They should be signing lower Premiership players on high wages with Briatore/Ecclestone and Mittal's millions !! Wish Mittal had bought us !! I think he'd be worth a punt, it's about time LCFC resurrected a career rather than ruin one.
