Ric Flair Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 Would do a job in league 1. Excellent at set peices. He's a play maker, he's getting on a bit. But as you say, he'd definitely do a job in League One. If Clemence & Oakley both go and Kishishev doesn't stay around, we need a player in the middle who can help get the best out of King and Wesolowski. BNP get it done.

Thought i read some where that Weso wants to leave? Might just have been a rumours page though. Hope its not true.
eye666 Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 Don't know if this has been posted before but southampton hadn't done there retained list that was on the 12th of june, looking on the saints site the following players do not seem to have signed new deals:Nathan Dyer, Inigo Idiakez, Darren Powell and Jermaine Wright, who will be free agents. The fact pearson is not here might make this more relevent. Darren Powell would be decent for us in this league. We need a centre back. Dyers is decent too but in a bit of trouble. Do we want a player who is getting prosecuted for burglary? Honestly, what a tw@t. A professional footballer nicking stuff. Doesn't he make enough?
MikeyT Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 Do we want a player who is getting prosecuted for burglary? Honestly, what a tw@t. A professional footballer nicking stuff. Doesn't he make enough? Hahahahaha!
Jon the Hat Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 Do we want a player who is getting prosecuted for burglary? Honestly, what a tw@t. A professional footballer nicking stuff. Doesn't he make enough? Suspect there is much more to that story than meets the eye. When I see things which make no sense I think: Pictures on Mobile phone. Money taken from the players. Kiss and tell stories etc.
spencfox79 Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 Nathan dyer is free agent on a week to week contract now at southampton do you think he would be a good addition to the team
Asha Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 Nathan dyer is free agent on a week to week contract now at southampton do you think he would be a good addition to the team He could be going to jail.
RizLCFC Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 He could be going to jail. Which is a shame as he is an excellent prospect.
Ric Flair Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 He'd go down for less than 6 months anyway. Hardly a career ending stretch, hope he learns from his mistakes if found guilty.
AjcW Posted 4 July 2008 Posted 4 July 2008 He'd go down for less than 6 months anyway. Hardly a career ending stretch, hope he learns from his mistakes if found guilty. To the nathan dyer thing southampton must be mad even if he is in a spot of trouble to be near enough releasing him. portsmouth were said to be bidding upwards of 5 mill in january for him hes a great player. i dont care if hes going to jail get him signed up, and anyway there not going to go to jail are they one its probs first offense and two theyre footballers with footballers solicitors, barton got away with abh the other day

David Guiza Posted 4 July 2008 Posted 4 July 2008 Correctamundo.I thought Mancini's son was on loan at City from Inter? Not sure thats what it said on bbc .. " City have also released former Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini's son, Filippo, who was one of six academy players released in an overall list of 10. "

Durnerz Posted 4 July 2008 Posted 4 July 2008 Definately the kind of player we need, has massive potential too.
teblin Posted 5 July 2008 Posted 5 July 2008 Marcus Williams from S****horpe not signed a new contract.
General Smuts Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 Clinton Morrison free agentSOURCE I WANT HIM HERE NOW!
Joe. Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 Would be a good signing I think if we grabbed him here. However a) he could be another "I can't be arsed" player and b) there probably won't be a shortage of interest elsewhere.

Although he could be persuaded if the money was right, im sure.
Joe. Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 Although he could be persuaded if the money was right, im sure. That'd be kind of why I wouldn't want him here. And besides, he won't end up in League One.
Jack Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 That'd be kind of why I wouldn't want him here. And besides, he won't end up in League One. He'll end up in the championship no doubt. But if we was to show interest him and offered more than anybody else im sure he would take the drop for more money.
