He's quoted in the latest issue of FourFourTwo as saying he's good enough for the Championship. I think his agent will have sorted a deal out with a club at that level (possibly Cov) before Mandaric appoints a new manager.

Your right, Mandaric needs to get this appointment done asap! He need a few weeks at least before pre-season to try and take stock of the squad!

God i hope so but none of us expected him to go with Allen, Megson and Ollie so im not sure. I just hope and pray we get a good man manager because on paper our squad is far superior to anyones in League 1, it just needs someone to get old of it and sort it out!

He has that calm about him very few keepers have. He did his stuff with minium fuss and made more or less no mistakes. Goal keeping is not all about reflexes. I truly believe that Fulop is a very underated keeper.

The man's a total pain in the arse to defenders, and even managed to get himself on the scoresheet on a few occassions for Blackpool last season (naturally against us <_< ). Worth a try in League One.

Think i read an interview with Grayson the other day on SSN website and he said he wants to sign Dickov permanently. This was when all the speculation was surrounding him with our vacancy.

teblin Posted 26 June 2008 Posted 26 June 2008 Don't know if this has been posted before but southampton hadn't done there retained list that was on the 12th of june, looking on the saints site the following players do not seem to have signed new deals: Nathan Dyer, Inigo Idiakez, Darren Powell and Jermaine Wright, who will be free agents. The fact pearson is not here might make this more relevent. Darren Powell would be decent for us in this league. We need a centre back. Dyers is decent too but in a bit of trouble.
