Time for a change. The bloke has been awful, few goals here and there don't make a player. I would much rather have had Dean Windass. Hume's football career will now decline down the leagues becuase he's shown nothing more to prove that he's any better than Division 4 or lower.

Laters Hume, you suck!

to be fair what football do you watch ? hume is about only one in the team thats any goodupfront... always threatens even if doesnt score ... only forward we have i would keep. end of for me

He is a slag of a player a self absorbed little toerag. How terms like legend can be bandied about when he only ever played in the relegation area of the Championship is beyond me. His work ethic never even got close to that of Trevor Benjamin and Ade Akinbiyi who both played and scored at a much higher level, by the way.

His poisonous influence won't be missed one bit by anyone at the Walkers. People harp on about players like Howard and co being a waste of cash this muppet cost is 750,000 when we have had bugger all from him.

If you want to keep the manjuicefest going then you are doing a real disservice to players in the past who have given and delivered so much more to Leicester City than Iain Hume.

I didnt realise you were speaking for every single Leicester fan worldwide!

Plank!

Hume will be key for us next season if he is played up front.

We need to keep hold of this lad.

I think we'll have to ask Phil Gee for the final and definitive verdict on this rather dull and tiresome opinionfest.

Why stop there? I'm waiting with baited breath to see what Colin Gordon has to say on the subject

I reckon Clayton Blackmore should be quite easy to track down.

There can't be many Clayton Blackmores.

He does a stint on MUTV from what I gather, looking tanned as fook still.

We do, but the powers that be will have a different view.

Expect to see him leave in the summer, for around £500k. The club will probably spin it as "not willing to stand in the way of his ambitions".

So? Who cares. We don't fcuking need him, when will you idiots ever learn?

Errr... this club is bigger than ONE player who was part of our WORST EVER season last year.

Get over yourselves, all of you (apart from MF).

He's not THAT good.

Fu ck sake. If Josh Low came back and kissed the badge a few times I hate to think what might happen.

16 goals from midfield the last time he played in League One and 34 league goals in 3 seasons in a very crap Championship team. Find me another one of those please then to replace him. I'll give you an hour to come up with some replacements.

When will you ever learn that not every single Leicester player is crap just because the team has been dreadful for several seasons! :D

I think the point that's being made is if we do lose him then we are unlikely to find a replacement that matches his goals and effort. He's not a world beater and yeah you're right he's not the be all and end all but at the same time he IS Championship standard and right now, in our position, that's a pretty attractive quality.

I do see where you're coming from, but I feel a bit like some people see this as similar to losing Heskey, Lennon or Izzet.

Hume was mediocre last year. The rest were rubbish.

I won't shed a tear over any of them leaving and that even goes for Stearman, Mattock and Weso. And I rate all three of them.

I shed a tear once when i stubbed my toe in a place called Hume

I don't care who replaces him, I'll say Ashley Chambers, Billy Kee, and Ricky Sappleton. There.

Ric, come on now. Hume as shown he's not good enough. There is no point keeping any of the players we have. Every player who played in the last four games of the season should be told to leave. Hume has been part of this awful team for the entire period of the decline.

The challenge for the club now is to go out and find these players we need to rebuild the team, we probably won’t have heard of half them. The days of transfer speculation of big name players is over. I can’t believe people don’t understand this. Hume isn’t good enough for us, he’s proven that. How any fan of Leicester can sit there after what’s happened and say they want to keep certain players from this current squad is absurd. The only way to move forward is to start from scratch. There are plenty of young players out there who would love opportunity to come and play for Leicester and prove themselves, and I can assure you they would do a million times better job than any of the current lot we’ve got now.

Utter nonsense. This is League 1 everyone. LEAGUE 1!

Master Fox is talking sense.

Besides HOLLOWAY DOESN'T RATE HUME AND THEY DON'T GET ON.

Why are we still talking about this?

How do you know this? :dunno:

What sickens me is that Hume and his agent will be doing everything they can to engineer a move away, to line their own pockets further, profiting from our demise, he'll go elsewhere and kiss their badge and run around a lot, not playing the obvious ball and trying too much (which brings me to another player all Leicester fans love for no reason - Joey fu cking Gudjonnson) and you lot will still be all like Oooh Iain Hume, he was ace. I loved him. He really loved the club he did. Despite the fact that he was part of our worst ever side, I'm devastated he's gone.

Fu ck sake.

They've clashed before with Holloway criticising him for comments about his Plymouth side. Holloway reluctant to play him upfront. Etc etc.

Plus the obvious edge I have over most of you in that I'm not a sychophantic retard who loves badge-kissers and can't see the woods for the trees.

Yes but wouldn't you rather have a Championship standard player in League 1 than a League 1 standard player in League 1. I would.

Anyway. It's pretty clear how you feel about Hume and the whole squad and I'll admit your idea of replacing them all is appealing IN THEORY. Is it really realistic though? And if not then isn't it best to keep the BETTER players, such as Hume?

It’s embarrassing how people have signalled out one of the worst players in our history as someone to continue to build a team around. Isn’t that what Martin Allen did last season? Yes. Look where we are. I’m sick of people going on about this mediocre/average player and talking him up as if he’s some kind of ‘legend’ it’s fcuking stupid.

I bet it will be difficult to try and sell him to another championship club. Who the fcuk is going to want to buy any of this lot? I hope they get shipped out to league 2 teams, probably at level where they belong.

If anyone thinks keeping Hume will improve our chances of promotion, well, they’re living in a dream world.

Personally, I hope Ollie kicks him in the nuts and tells him to fcuk off.
