Staf Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 1. Reading 2. QPR ------------------------- 3. Wolves 4. Palace 5. Birmingham 6. Forest ( sorry got a awful feeling) ------------------------- 22. Blackpool 23. Doncaster ( i think they will beat Leeds) 24. Swansea I know the season isnt finished but who do you think will be in the top six in the championship next season? Personally i think that Reading will win it if Coppel stays. And i have a feeling that Forest will get in the play offs. As for relegation i have a feeling Blackpool will go down. I know we are not in the championship but i think it is still a good league and i think it will be good to see who goes up and down next season
Bert Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 1 - Birmingham 2 - Reading ------------------- 3 - QPR 4 - Derby 5 - Palace 6 - Watford ------------------- 22 - Blackpool 23 - Barnsley 24 - Coventry.
Mark Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 Can't see any of the 3 that are going up from League 1 coming back down, they all look good to me, Championship next season is going to be good, just wish we were a part of it. Bottom 3 I'll have an early guess at Coventry Barnsley Blackpool
LeeCovFox Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 1. Birmingham 2. Reading 3. Sheffield United 4. Crystal Palace 5. Derby County 6. Queen's Park Rangers 22. Blackpool 23. Sheffield Wednesday 24. Norwich City
Fox You Forest Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 1. Birmingham 2. Ipswich --------------------------- 3. Reading 4. Palace 5. Watford 6. Charlton ------------------------- 22. Coventry 23. Barnsley 24. Blackpool Maybe go higher with Reading if Coppell decides to stay. If Ipswich sort out there away form there in with a great chance i think.
Finchy Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 1. Crystal Palace 2. Charlton -------------- 3. Wolves 4. Birmingham 5. QPR 6. Ipswich -------------- 22. Plymouth 23. Barnsley 24. Blackpool Would love to see Cov go down but i can't see it really, Forest, Leeds, and Cov all for mid table finishes. Derby just to miss play offs.
lildave3 Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 I fear for Bristol City next season if they don't go up. Unless they invest in someone that can score goals of course.
Joe. Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 I refuse to talk about the Championship. <_< EDIT: Apart from my predictions obviously....
Fox You Forest Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 I fear for Bristol City next season if they don't go up.Unless they invest in someone that can score goals of course. I was going to put them in the bottom 3 but didnt for fear of being mocked. On the upside i put Coventry in instead.

Ultra Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 Too early to make predictions. For one thing, we don't yet know the make-up of the division, nor whether managers will come or go during the summer.

Simi Posted 18 May 2008 Posted 18 May 2008 Swansea won't be going down. Very good manager and some very decent players who will thrive in this league. No doubts about that. If Donny come up as well, I don't really see them struggling either, a good footballing side that seem to have confidence. Forest may struggle, but if some of their rumoured signings come off, they won't have many problems, sadly. I'd love to see Reading get dragged down and lose a few players, then hopefully stay and rot in this league where they belong. Birmingham will do well if they can maintain the core of their side. McLeish is more than capable of getting them back up straight away. Players like Jermome, McSheffery and Forsell will rip this division apart. Derby will be strong, Villa looks a great talent and will excel in the Championship. Palace will be there or there abouts next year, a good young core to their side now and they will only improve, providing they can keep hold of them. I agree with Ld3 if Bristol don't go up, I can see them sinking down the table next year. Same goes for Watford, I think they'll begin to slip, Marlon King got them where they are this year, they struggled ever since he left and I don't see that changing any time soon. Cov have been flirting with the bottom half for a while now, but with a new chairman and a decent manager I don't see them going down, sadly. Sheff Wed will build on staying up, don't see them having many problems next season to be honest. Teams like Blackpool, Preston, Barnsley and Southampton will be in and around relegation. If Southampton go into administration it'll certainly be a long season for them. They'll always be a side that you don't expect to be around relegation. I'm thinking it could be Plymouth. Which would be a real shame wouldn't it? 1. Birmingham 2. Derby 3. Palace 4. QPR 5. Sheff U 6. Ipswich 22. Plymouth 23. Preston 24. Blackpool
purpleronnie Posted 18 May 2008 Posted 18 May 2008 1.Reading 2.Birmingham 3.Watford 4.Derby 5.Sheff Utd 6.Charlton. Really don't know who will go down. Maybe;- Barnsley, Sheff wed, Blackpool
Father Ted Posted 18 May 2008 Posted 18 May 2008 It all depends on who teams sign and if they can hold on to key players. I will say mine when the play-offs are sorted
Jay Posted 18 May 2008 Posted 18 May 2008 Can't see any of the 3 that are going up from League 1 coming back down, they all look good to me, Championship next season is going to be good, just wish we were a part of it. Bottom 3 I'll have an early guess at Coventry Barnsley Blackpool agreed it was tough this year but I sense this is going to be probably the most competitive league in Europe next year with probably 10-15 teams that could maybe win it or do very very well and at least one other BIG team that could be sucked into relegation like we were this year f**k the predictable premiership this is going to be where all the action is next season

Finnegan Posted 18 May 2008 Posted 18 May 2008 All bias aside, anyone who thinks Swansea are going to just drop straight back down are probably lacking a few screws.

LeeCovFox Posted 18 May 2008 Posted 18 May 2008 League One: 1. Leicester City 2. Doncaster Rovers 3. MK Dons 4. Southend United 5. Brighton and Hove Albion 6. Peterborough United If Donny go up I fancy Leeds to win it with us in second spot.
