lildave3 Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Grant chucked his medal into the crowd. Wonder if one of the many that said "You don't know what you're doing" caught it. He threw Drogba's aswell, i'm sure of it. He threw 2 into the crowd.
Joe. Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 I hope Grant doesn't get sacked for not winning either the league or the Champions League, he doesn't deserve it in my opinion. He threw Drogba's aswell, i'm sure of it.He threw 2 into the crowd. Yeah he definitely got given two, obviously the second must have been Drogba's.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Exactly how I feel. Two teams I have no real attachment for. This game doesn't even register on the radar in terms of importance compared to our game against Stoke. True... But it's still good seeing John Terry in tears.
Darkzzz_ Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Very happy united won... I do not like Chelsea, ever since Erland Johnson cheated us out the cup years a go...!! I have always liked to watch united in europe.. Chelsea may feel robbed but thats footy, we all have suffered that!!!
Durnerz Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Grant chucked his medal into the crowd. Wonder if one of the many that said "You don't know what you're doing" caught it. That'll be on Ebay by the morning

I agree. I like old Grandad Grant. People should give him credit for taking them to the Final when The Special One couldnt. He's always dignified and i like that. P.S Did Drogba not come out for his medal after(Like i said,im at work so dont know whats happening!)
Flynny Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 I wanted United to win to start with, but by the time the penalties started I was rooting for Chelsea. They were playing some lovely football second half, Grant deserves real credit and I'm disappointed he won't get it.
Joe. Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 P.S Did Drogba not come out for his medal after(Like i said,im at work so dont know whats happening!) Nah he didn't, Grant had to get it for him.
Raj Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Nah he didn't, Grant had to get it for him. Thats the end of his Chelsea career then, mardy bastard! Still im sure we could make a space for him in our team now that Elvis has gone!!!!
lildave3 Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Thats the end of his Chelsea career then, mardy bastard!Still im sure we could make a space for him in our team now that Elvis has gone!!!! He's not allowed to Raj.
Koke Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 What did Tevez do initially? All I saw was some handbags and then Drogba giving Vidic a soft little school girl slap
Tevez Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Some pure gold right there. Chav twat. Oh yeah that's right, I seen John Terry in his Burberry hat just before the game
Fox You Forest Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Your On Sky Sports - First caller Matt from Leicester. It's not you is it Matt.
lildave3 Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 What did Tevez do initially? All I saw was some handbags and then Drogba giving Vidic a soft little school girl slap Didn't give the ball back properly, then told United to box 'em in. Basically what Chelsea did in the first half, twice. Ridiculous reaction.
Matt Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Your On Sky Sports - First caller Matt from Leicester. It's not you is it Matt. No wasn't me What did he have to say?
RowlattsFox Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Didn't give the ball back properly, then told United to box 'em in. Basically what Chelsea did in the first half, twice. Ridiculous reaction. Chelsea did kick it out for a throw but I don't think they boxed them in, they let them have a throw in unchallenged. Anyway ball shouldn't have been put out in the first place then you don't have these problems.
Fox You Forest Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 No wasn't me What did he have to say? He was talking about Man Utd, I stopped listening after he said "If we need a runner why not try Dwain Chambers he's tried everything else".
Raj Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 He's not allowed to Raj. Why? Could happen Ben. I can see it now...Drogba hat trick against the mighty Huddersfield Town!
lildave3 Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Why?Could happen Ben. I can see it now...Drogba hat trick against the mighty Huddersfield Town! No, he's not allowed to collect his medal.
Fox You Forest Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 No, he's not allowed to collect his medal. Avram was always out on the pitch with Terry though at the end so how did he know Drogba didnt want his medal i hope he didnt throw it without asking.
Maybes Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 I actually didnt watch this. I couldn't really care less to be honest. League one is where its at these days
Thracian Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Chelsea were the better team from the half hour mark and onwards. Fair play to them, they were good tonight. They were strong. In what way were they good except for part of the second half? Their centre-forward had one shot that I recall. United, as is their habit against top sides now, let them come onto them a bit once they'd taken the lead but I didn't see Chelsea suddenly look good. Just better than they had been. United had the best chance in extra time when both teams became increasingly neutered by cramp.
Ultra Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 To anyone who may feel pangs of sympathy for Chelski.. Think of all the lowlife who made them the BNP's most favoured English club throughout the 80s and 90s up to 2003. Think of Ken Bates. Think of Erland Johnsen. Think of Dennis Wise. Think of that awful season-ending challenge by Shevchenko on Levi Porter and the dire consequences it had for us. And THEN come on here and tell us you still feel sympathy for them...

Getting on to the game. Was 50/50 Manu were better in the first half, Chelsea the second, and Chelsea were probably the better team in ET. Manu had some chances, but Chelsea were unfortunate to hit the bar and post. I would have loved to have seen Chelsea win it for Avram Grant, he's done a good job there. I feel so sorry for Terry. That could destroy him.
