Drogba is such an annoying player.

If he sorted his attitude out he could possibly be one of the top strikers in the world. But until he sorts out himself out he won't be.

His diving is embarassing for a man of his stature, even Chelsea fans have had enough of it and tell him to get up themselves. For somebody so good he really does let himself down, and it's frequent too. He's one of the ringleaders when it comes to the Chelsea team when it comes to surrounding referees and it's shocking to be honest. Last night was a prime example of it. He ran the length of the pitch to go and then slap Vidic that earned him his red card.

It's disappointing to see a player of his ability behave in the way he does sometimes.

So did Rio.

No he didnt.

Cost Yanited for the Lamps equaliser and nearlly cost them again with his challenges on Malouda and J. Cole.

Terry was strong and lead by example... Something I feel Rio didnt do.

His behaviour last night, and in recent Premier League games, showed he's had enough at Chelsea. He wants out.

Expect to see him in an Inter or Barca shirt next season.

Indeed.

Won't be sad to see him leave, a very good player. Let down by his attitude.

You cant be serious?

It hit Evra before deflecting off Ferdinand what could he do about that.

Could of been in a better position defensively.

He is so over rated its unreal.

Terry's an ex-Forest player. That's usually reason enough to despise anyone. (MON and Neil Lennon being very obvious exceptions)

But I'd prefer Ashley "How dare you only offer me £55k/week" Cole to have missed a penalty last night.

Now there's a player I REALLY cannot stand..

He was on loan there and played 6 games for fcuk sake.

I forgot about that Ferdinand challenge on J.Cole, that was one of the highest foots ive ever seen, it was that high, that his entire leg went over the top of Cole's head. If it was any lower he would of wiped Cole out and gave away a penalty.

Not quite as overrated as Terry mind.

How?

Terry won everything in the air last night and on the floor. Kept Chelsea in it with his block from Giggs.

Yea he is so overrated isnt he?

Ferdinand was the worst centre back on the pitch last night.

Today was brilliant.

Today a season filled of me getting wound up, biting, almost smacking people/the Chelsea fan, feeling depressed week after week because of him taking the piss out of me and Leicester was released...I got him wound up, I got him biting, He was close to smacking me, and he felt depressed with hardly any comeback!

Was awesome. His only comeback was "I'd rather lose in a final than play in Division 1", "I'd rather support a team than wins most of the time than one that's shit"...I just replied with "Yeah but I know we're shit you know we're shit, but what's the point in getting to all these finals, when your going to lose and win F.A"

....Carling Cup - You lost it...And you only just managed to struggle past us.

....Premiership - You took to the last day of the season, Wow, You still fuked it even if it was in Man Utd's hand you had no chance anyway because you drew which wasn't good enough.

....Champions League - Fuked it.

Sent him a picture of John Terry crying with the message "There's only one John Terry, One John Terry, Walking along, Singing a song, Watching Terry miss a penalty".

The Man Utd fan I know phoned him up pissed in the early hours of the morning.

I put a United flag, shirt and poster up, I wrote alot of messages on Masking tape and stuck them all over his area and work.

I was shouting at him, Chanting, slagging Chelsea of, Chants of Champions.

He just said "Ahhhh got two teams have ya? Leicester and Man Utd"...I just said "Well hang on you have a Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Man Utd shirt" (And that is no lie)

I hate to say and Leicester will always be my number one but this Chelsea fan and rivalry is actually turning me into a Man Utd fan, or certainly making me have a big interest in United. As I said Leicester will always be my number one, I'll always go and watch Leicester, and never turn my back on them, but out of the big 4....

Today was brilliant, I had a taste of his world today, and he certainly had a taste of how I have felt all season - He's had one day of it, I think if I kept it up for a week he'd be on the verge of hanging himself, I hope he remember this and bears it in mind when he wants to take the piss out of someone and their team i future.

I might go easy on him tomorrow......

NAH! :crylaugh:

Vidic was absolutely immense. It was such a fine performance that it made me question Rio's ability. To be honest, Vidic was a class apart.

Yet him and Vidic have outshone anyone in the premiership/europe this season as a pairing

Lets look at it from a seasons perspective, like over 50 games perhaps? Everyone can babble on until the cows come home about Terry vs Rio debate. YES, maybe last night Terry did shade it, even though he missed a penalty that he will be remembered for, and reminded, for the rest of his playing career.

Vidic and Rio have shown what proper defending is all about this season, and Terry and Carvalho has been left in the midst in comparison - to say the least!

My word the amount of United shirts that were being worn today.

I was in nottingham and they were everywhere :giggle:

I have to admit that even though Chelsea were much more physical and showed more blood and guts (well, not literally) but Man U's key players all played to very much the top of the standard and that's what got them to the peno. shootout. And then the peno. shootout is just very much a lottery.

Vidic and Tevez put in the performances of their lives.

I'm sorry, but how naive can you be?

It was as clear as daylight that Rio Ferdinand was by far the worst defender out there! It's amazing it didn't cost United in the end.

You say that Terry will be remembered for missing a penalty, but what about Rio's drug test and ban??? From a moral point of view, there's only ever one winner.

I was genuinely gobsmacked at Ferdinands performance yesterday, and to think he was Uniteds captain...

I was babbling on about Rio's performances over the WHOLE season. Congrats to Terry, he had a decent game last night but when't home crying with a loosers medal. Not a good day at the office?

Rio played shag yes, but did Terry do enough to sort the defence out in the first half? They were at sixes and sevens, mainly down to Essien, and if it wasn't for some bad luck and stunning goal keeping by Cech then the game would have been all but over by half time.

Enough

You've just got something against Terry, so discussing him is pointless. But the bold part is just a case of pot and kettle...

I don't care about either of them, but I can't understand all the praise Rio gets. Vidic has outshone him this season and I don't know many that disagree with this. Is it because Rio is English that people keep going on about him?

I don't think anyone is 'going on' about him. Rio just compliments Vidic very well. I doubt either would be as good if it wasn't for the other. Vidic is a good strong CB, but is he the best in the world right now?

Well I guess it's people here and the media in general that give him this attention. Yes, Rio has always been the complentary type. He worked very well with Campbell and has a decent partnership with Vidic now. In the matches where the other wasn't playing, he's always looked vulnerable. As for Vidic being the best in the world, who am I to judge? He'd certainly be in my considerations. But in England alone I'd consider Vidic, Touré, Gallas, Lescott, Terry, Carvalho amongst the best in Europe right now. Lucio, Cannavaro, Puyol, Nesta, Cordoba would obviously be front runners too...

Vidic = Jaap Stam of 08.

Agreed.

Barca games apart, United's defence looks a lot weaker when he doesn't play
