Last updated: 7th August 2008

Milton Keynes Dons have completed the signing of Canadian international Ali Gerba, subject to a work permit being granted.

Gerba, 26, has signed a one-year contract with a one-year option at stadium:mk after a successful trial period with the club.

The former Toronto Lynx, Montreal Impact and IFK Gothenburg striker becomes the Dons' fourth signing of the summer after the arrivals of midfielders Peter Leven and Florian Sturm and defender Shaun Cummings.

The MK Dons begin life in League One with a tough trip to face relegated Leicester on Saturday.

Big Shittu to Bolton

And I can't really understand the Zuhberbuhler to Fulham move. Haven't they got about 17 keepers now?

Morrison to Cov too.

Shittu will be a good signing for them.

And Zubherbuhler... He failed at West Brom before.

Neither can I, that's 3 keepers this window alone.

Zuberbuhler's only in it for the money. And the fact Hodgson's a follower of Swiss football ever since he coached the National Squad to the 1994 World Cup.

Zuberbuhler is erratic to say the least. Like a Kalac. Or a Lehmann (who would've fooked up a lot more if he hadn't played behind a solid back four).

According to the Swiss newspaper Tages-Anzeiger, Udinese Calcio's Swiss international striker Gokhan Inler is set to sign for Arsenal before the start of the new season.

Luton Town bring in 11 new faces

Harford has thanked other managers for their support

Luton have taken their total signings in the last 24 hours to 11 with the capture of Michael Spillane, Josh Klein-Davies and Kevin Watson.

Spillane and Klein-Davies, both 19, have joined on loan from Norwich and Bristol Rovers respectively.

Former Colchester midfielder Watson, 34, has arrived at Kenilworth Road on a free transfer.

Meanwhile, defender Lewis Emanuel and midfielder Keith Keane have signed new contracts with the club.

On Friday morning Luton confirmed the Football League had approved the signings of Kevin Nicholls from Preston, Claude Gnakpa , who was formerly with Peterborough, George Pilkington from Port Vale and Asa Hall from Birmingham. I've said to the players that I'm not bothered about Rotherham and Bournemouth, if we go about our jobs with the right attitude it is down to us

Rossi Jarvis, who previously played for Norwich, Ian Roper from Walsall, Chris Martin on loan from Norwich, and Tristan Plummer on loan from Bristol City were also given permission to join the club.

Luton manager Mick Harford told BBC Three Counties Radio: "Clubs are sympathetic to our cause and I'm grateful to the likes of [Norwich manager] Glenn Roeder and [bristol City boss] Gary Johnson."

Luton will start the season on minus 30 points but Harford has played down the significance of the 17 point deductions for both Rotherham and Bournemouth.

"I've said to the players that I'm not bothered about Rotherham and Bournemouth, if we go about our jobs with the right attitude it is down to us.

"Obviously they are our nearest opponents, we are 13 points behind them, but we are just concerned about how we approach the season."

Zigic to Stoke - Possibly

How I would love to see that move.

Zigic would show up Crouch with his eyes closed. He can actually head aswell, unlike Crouch and is more mobile than Crouch. Also great feet and has scored some great goals in the past.

Would be an absolutely great signing for Stoke!

Here's one of his greatest, and that's with his left foot! He's right-footed.

Rip off, I suppose he's better than Zat Knight though lol

Yes, but they've just signed Luke Young.

So, why do they need 2 right-backs...?

EDIT: My wrong, when I've watched him play he's played at right-back but he's really a centre-back.

He will be good signing for them, seems to be one of them that gets in the way of everything.

Think Rangers only paid bout 4 million for him not sure though
