Phlashman Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 Easier to read like this: Mark Jarvis: 6-4 Billy Davies 7-2 Paul Lambert 5-1 Paul Ince, Darren Ferguson, Gerry Taggart 8-1 Simon Grayson 10-1 Lawrie Sanchez, Mike Newell 12-1 Sam Allardyce 14-1 Peter Reid, Mark Robins 16-1 Joe Royle, John Gregory 20-1 John Collins 40-1 Steve Walsh. Victor Chandler: 3-1 Billy Davies 7-2 Paul Lambert 4-1 Simon Grayson 11-2 Paul Ince 13-2 Micky Adams 8-1 Lawrie Sanchez 10-1 Steve McClaren, Mike Newell 12-1 Darren Ferguson, Steve Tilson, Danny Wilson, Richard Money 14-1 Steve Walsh, Peter Reid 16-1 Russell Slade 20-1 Dave Penney, Joe Royle There seems to be a bit of weight gaining the Billy Davies option.
SamL Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 Sam Allardyce. I really can't see him coming here. It's no surprise that Davies is the faviourite though. It looks promising.

Whoever puts money on Ince or Ferguson are stupid they'll never come after just winning promotions. McClaren 10-1! Thats rediculous. Micky Adams became Brighton manager a week ago!
teblin Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 Hope the bookies are right would be pleased with davies to be honest.
Phlashman Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 Don't forget though the bookies have been wrong twice with us this season. First they stopped taking bets on Ince and we got Allen and second they stopped taking bets on Royle and we got Holloway.
Father Ted Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 Where's Avram's odds? That's what I was thinking Also, it's nice to be seeing us linked with Allardyce and Mclaren.

Father Ted Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 Made me chuckle too. And with the fact he's just been appointed Brighton manager aswell is quite funny
Matt Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 People are laughing at Micky Adams whether thats because people think he did a bad job here (Or because he's just took over at Brighton), I don't know but if it is, he's been the best manager we've had in recent years, and I certainly take those times now.

I agree!! All the stick people gave Adams and hes been the best Manager by far in the last 6 years!

You obviously think it's the first option thats why the second is in brackets and nothing else said about it, Of course you would take those times now on another thread you said you wouldnt bet against another relagation next year. I agree!! All the stick people gave Adams and hes been the best Manager by far in the last 6 years! Not much competition though really has he.
brookfox Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 From the Mercury: "Davies is rated a 6-4 shot by Leicester bookmakers Mark Jarvis and also heads the list with Victor Chandler at 3-1." Embarrassing as it is to confess, I read this and wondered who Victor Chandler managed!

With hindsight there's a strong case for Milan letting the bookies choose our next manager!

Lillehamring Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 billy davies, eh? looks like the bookies have been talking to ibbosuck
C-man Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 At the moment I wouldn't mind any of the top few candidates. I'm not going to jump for joy whoever gets appointed and as long as it isn't Peter Reid I won't lose any sleep over it either. We'll see by Christmas whether or not it was a good appointment.
Leicester Rule! Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 If McClaren is appointed will the club shop sell limited edition umbrella's.
