Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 May 2008 Posted 29 May 2008 I am enjoying this thread. Most of the posts appear to involve this sort of thing; :worship: U r a legend m8, thanx 4 tellin us our club is in absolute ruins!!! (coz we wud neva av known ovawise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111) Sort yourselves out.
Flynny Posted 29 May 2008 Posted 29 May 2008 Touch harsh that. People are just grateful to have any sort of information on whats happening. That knowitall's post is about the most concrete thing we know about whats going on at the minute speaks for itself.
Daggers Posted 29 May 2008 Posted 29 May 2008 That knowitall's post is about the most concrete thing we know about whats going on at the minute speaks for itself. It holds no more substance than the one Master Fox did this afternoon regarding anal sex. Seriously, how can it? There's no one at the club! It's holiday time. There's newspaper horoscopes that carry more gravitas and credence in them.
knowitall Posted 29 May 2008 Author Posted 29 May 2008 Why did Gradel sign a 3 year contract if the club had treated him so badly? Maybe he believed Leicester where going to stay in the Championship and that if he played enough games they would review his contract. Also if Leicester told him no other Championship team where intrested in him. Being young one tends to believe things.
LCFCUSA Posted 29 May 2008 Posted 29 May 2008 This is extremely interesting, although not unexpected. I hope we can keep a core team together to build on to, but this information is slighty worrying. Thanks knowitall.. good info.

I haven't got my 'just deserts' yet today, nor have I 'given up on an argument after re-assessing the outcome upon me'.

knowitall Posted 29 May 2008 Author Posted 29 May 2008 I'm not doubting whether this is true or not but I don't really care if it is. If a club comes in for a player and they don't want to play for us, let them go. No player's bigger than the club and I don't think there's any player that shouldn't be considered for transfer out of the squad that took us down. Even Hume was heard saying things, by mates of mine, which made me lose respect I had for him too. Might be a blessing in disguise if we lose the likes of Howard, Clemence, Oakley, McAuley etc. Some good points. Maybe a club should make its players feel wanted and needed. Even if the club itself does not want these players. This would make the whole squad play better. Is it not bad for moral if certain players feel wanted and others dont? Has for Iain Hume I have spoken countless times with him and it is clear he respects the Leicester fans and is over the moon with the way they treat him. He knows he has let the fans down and wants the chance to put things right.

Why do you thinks clubs that have gone up through the playoffs are at a disadvantage if the clubs they're competing against have all been dozing in the meantime. Thats utter bollocks. Because the players aren't training and they're be a few less people about the place doesn't mean everything's stopped. Not only that, but from his previous posts knowitall quite clearly at least hears bits and pieces.

Since when did the ticket office staff hire and fire players? Its relevance to this thread is nil. I've no idea what the rest of that paragraph is meant to mean but it doesn't matter - you all carry on clinging to the every syllable uttered by someone claiming to be more important than he is. I'm done here.

I'm done here. Who's clinging to every word? Personally I just found his post interesting (if slightly depressing). Fair enough we already know that other clubs will be looking at our players but at least knowitall has fleshed that out a bit by giving us specific players and an idea of the amount of outside interest. I'm not going to offer him fellatio but I do appreciate his post and hope he passes on more information in future. Whether anyone wants to believe it or not is up to them.

I'm done here. Just one part of the club at which there's "no-one at". Or are you suggesting that everyone at Leicester's on holiday whilst all the other clubs around us are busily working the transfer market? He's never claimed to be important and I wouldn't be suprised if he was a cleaner. If people want to treat him as some kind of demi-god, whatever, that's stupid, of course, but the information that he posts is more accurate than the rest of the bollocks we get, and if people want to listen to him based on that then they're not idiots for doing so.

Simi Posted 30 May 2008 Posted 30 May 2008 It is indeed sad to read things like that, but thanks at the same time. Not surprised at the treatment of Gradel at all to be honest. This club has had so many ins and outs over the past few years it's ended up not respecting anyone, not even the youth team, which is incredibily dissapointing. They've shown that they could all have bright futures and to read stuff like that is sad.

My point was that he didn't treat some of our supporters with much respect towards the end of last season away from the football club. Having said that he is one of very few who can say they gave it their all last season so fair play to him for that.

Filberts lovechild Posted 30 May 2008 Posted 30 May 2008 The difference between calling yourself "Knowitall" and actually knowing it all is that the latter can`t tellitall ! You obviously don't post much mate. knowitall does know it all. Very sad state of affairs I fear for Leicester. Our main objecive should be number 1 keep Hume number 2 keep Gradel number 3 get rid of the rubbish and reduce the squad numbers. Keep us updated please knowitall. Cheers

Cheese Me Posted 30 May 2008 Posted 30 May 2008 Quick question. This says how many enquiries we've had for these players. I'm sure players get enquiries made about them all the time by clubs assessing the situation, building shortlists, etc which really don't turn into anything. Before we all get too alarmed how does the interest levels expressed by Knowitall compare to normal interest levels in club's players at this time of year?

The problem is that these queries are being made for players at a club that has just been relegated. Not to mention the fact that many of these players proved themselves at Championship level before they signed for us (Clemence, Oakley, Howard, etc). Regardless of what is normal the point is we are vulnerable to bids, very vulnerable.
