With regards to criticism of Knowitall, he can only reasonably be judged upon information he has given in the past. If, as it has been said, he has been fairly accurate in the past then he possibly has a very good source of information, so why bugger it up for the future by telling all and sundry on here as that way, we'd never get to hear anything else! If I had a source (I haven't currently), I would protect them and report when I could with discretion. For example I once had a good source at the club years ago who took a fax off a machine at Filbert Street from Aston Villa allegedly offering cash plus a player for one of ours. As not many people would have been were aware of it within the club (possibly even the players didn't know), I was hardly going to lose my mate his job by telling everyone. Those were the days before internet forums of course but sometimes things can be leaked on forums like these with discretion, but there is no need to try and hunt down the source. I think you have to take everything with a pinch of salt and try and see who is consistant.

It's nice to know which players are being looked at, but you're going to expect quite a few of your players to be looked at aren't you.

The interest in all of the named players doesn't suprise me. It's whether we decide to sell or not that is the issue.

Quick question. This says how many enquiries we've had for these players. I'm sure players get enquiries made about them all the time by clubs assessing the situation, building shortlists, etc which really don't turn into anything.

Before we all get too alarmed how does the interest levels expressed by Knowitall compare to normal interest levels in club's players at this time of year?

Intrest in players is way up this year, but that maybe because we went down. ChampionshipTeams may see some of our players as great squad players for them. Plus and I am guessing here, players whom no longer wish to be here could go under hand and let it be known. They may be more players wishing to leave this season than last season!!!

The big difference this year is nothing is happening at our end. The only good point I can see is that teams may get fed up with not getting a reply and move to other targets.

This past week has been interesting but sad. Without a manager no one knows what is going on at the club. We have various clubs asking about Leicester players. As yet no reply has been given to any club. Steven Howard one championship club asked about him. Matt Oakley two championship clubs shown interest. Stephen Clemence two championship clubs. Gareth Mcauley four championship clubs.Richard Stearman one premiership and 3 championship clubs. Joe Mattock two permiership clubs. David Bell we had first option on him. Yet no action has been taken. Other clubs are now bidding for him. Iain Hume, I know some of you do not like him but he is our top scorer and to me you get rid of thoses scoring less first. Iain has four championship clubs after him. Max Gradel well I dont know where to start! I think it is something like 10 championship clubs and 10 league one clubs have asked after him. Max Gradel was told last season he was not good enough for the first team. Then they gave him a contract telling him he was a League one player with the chance to play for Leicester in the Championship. His contract was at a wage of a League one player. Now championship clubs are saying Max your great and good enough for the Championship and we will double your wage. Would you stay at a club you told you You've not good enough? Would you move for double your money and talk to as a top player? I hope he stays please please.

The players will know about everything here. Agents talk to agents and players know people at football clubs. I find it sad that this post is about players going and nothing of any players coming to Leicester.

With out a manager Leicester are in a void. We will be behind all the other teams unless we act soon.

Today in the Mercury Aldrige says there where no offers to consider for our players.This is basically true, but we have had clubs asking us about players. If thery are available or not? All these enquires are passed to Aldridge. Has yet as far as I know no reply has been given. Aldridge also says he will consider any offers for players. In Gareth Mcauley's case he is leagally bound to consider and take any offer if over £750,000. All this huffing and puffing from Ipswich and yet still no offer.

This Friday all the top commerical staff are called to a meeting. The last time this happened was to meet Holloway. This time I dont think it is to meet a new manager, but to be told how reductions are to happen in each department. Some think as many as 40% in some sections.

So we all get upset that our team are now in the third tier. However some people (some on minimum wage) through no fault of their own will lose their jobs.

Especially annoying when you wonder what wage Aldridge was promised to come to the football club in the first place. I bet a week of those wages would be able to pay someone with a smaller but important job on the minimum wage. Never mind what some of the players have earnt in the past 12 months. Hopefully knowitall's just paranoid and it is to unveil SG as our new man.

I wouldn't be too upset if Weso left, a lot of potential but he's far too injury prone. I doubt if he'll ever play more than 20 games a season.

I'm starting to really hate the managers and chairman who have brought us to this. Pearson has one of the most difficult jobs in English football at the moment IMO. This club has been horribly mis-managed for years and the players that are first to leave are the ones the fans have identified most with. Not a nice feeling.
