I like the idea of calling you Alan.

It shall stick.

Fine by me Dev. As long it's not a shit deviation of my actual name, I do not mind.

Ok Alan.

Did you just space my name out in the quote bit?

Not intentionally. The laptop has a mind of it's own this evening.

Chapter One:

========

Endless advertisements on television.

Time-wasting and unnecessary stoppages in football matches.

Players having to leave the field after injury when they're fit and ready to continue without delaying the game.

People who drive with their fog lights on when it's not foggy.

People who hog the centre lane oblivious to anyone else.

Bad mannered driving generally.

Slow, shabby or indifferent service.

Delays while there's a problem with someone's plastic.

Speed cameras partly concealed at the bottom of hills.

Forests of street furniture.

Traffic wardens.

Plastic casing (for things like shavers) - it's impossible to open them with your bare hands.

Snoring. I can hear the girl next door's boyfriend snoring through the wall. How loud must that be? The poor love. Not only is he a shortarse, at night he sounds like he's warning ships of his position

People should be made to sleep in silence.

I agree. People who snore have no consideration for anyone else, particularly those that don't.

When you fancy some late night cereals but forgot to buy milk.

Or when you want the cereal late at night but remember you didn't think ahead in the morning and not save any for that night!

I enjoy a good snore and have done so for years. It's my choice to snore and I'm aware of the risks attached. I never snore in other people's houses, or if I'm eating out - and I certainly don't snore in front of the family, except occasionlly on Sunday afternoons or Christmas Day, when I'll enjoy a crafty snore after lunch. I have tried to give up snoring - I even tried wearing a patch over my eye, but it didn't work. Although it looked quite fetching.

What do the likes of Lisa and Corky want? No snoring in public? Snoring shelters at the end of streets? It's just political correctness gone mad. Mad.
