Hahahah phenomenal. If Tommy Robinson or an equivalent low IQ group of fringe losers said something as inciteful as this band, you’d be in a frothing rage. The only reason you don’t give a sh1t is because they’re Irish

They said this stuff about 2 years ago and no one cared until they criticised Israel.

You do realise that's what this is all about. The "lobby" ensuring it's no. 1 talking point with MPs, newspapers, radio and trying to get them cancelled from as many places as possible because if we discussing this we're not discussing Gaza and the deaths of tens of thousands of innocent people which the UK 100% involved in.

I had a feeling the subject of these guys would come up on here at some point.

As someone who grew up with pretty much the same background as Kneecap, I've always been confused by whey they are seen as modern day rebels their marketing machine perceives them to be.

The biggest political party is nationalist. The First Minister is nationalist. Nationalists are the majority across Northern Ireland/North of Irleand. Job opportunity are a lot more equal than they were and the economy is bouyant for all communities.

The British government would probably agree to a referendum to an united Ireland if it meant no civil unrest from unionist but there's no way the unrest, to put it bluntly, wouldn't happen. Ironically it would be working class unionists they claim to back to an extent. Despite what people see in English media there are still so many unionist strongholds.

The troubles finished before most of them were born or too young to remember so I'm happy these lads didn't have to experience a lot of the us catholics got back in the day.

At best I have to applaud their branding, they have the column inches and social media engagement they've sought. At worst they are pretty embarrassing and cringe to most of us and their message of hate doesn't represent Irish nationals, whether it's just for attention or they mean what they say.

I still  think the recent convictions of others for incitement is why the question of this group is under the spotlight

Whilst I wholly disagree with you I am pleased and thankful that this forum is becoming more maniacal with Elon musk and trump style sympathies for dangerous terrorist lunatics by yourself and @Finnegan. Otherwise it’s way too vanilla and one dimensional.

This issue is a long way from the no.1 news story, anywhere

The fact you think a couple of gowls shouting generic punk crap about dead Tories are "dangerous terrorist lunatics" is pretty much why 99% of foxestalk sighs and rolls their eyes when they see you've posted.

The real numbers presented by trump and  the doge dept. Some may think it’s only 63% but that’s fake news and dangerous woke liberal nonsense. It’s 99% and I know it is. There is a place in the world for wacky conspiracy theorists like yourself and I love it

For only the second time, we have ordered something from AliExpress and like the 1st time, really impressed with the service and in particular, the tracking information.

Their info is so detailed, I've joked that they tell you when the item is taken off the shelf, put on the van, arrived at the port, placed in a container, container doors closed, container loaded on ship........ you get the idea.

Faultless.

They then inform you it's arrived in UK and with customs. Item quickly clears customs and is now with the courier - Evri.

Evri take over the tracking.

17:56 Package received

18:30 Package mislaid. We'll keep you updated.

That was on Tuesday. F all info since.

Travels from the other side of the world, arrives here and.......

Old git alert...

The Met Gala. If all these people I've never heard of want to dress up like clowns, be my guest, but why the hell this thing makes it to front page of the news every year is beyond me.

At least the headline made me aware that thi self indulgent crap resulted in them all getting sodden in the rain gave me some cheer so it's not all bad.

Speaking personally, I think it's absolutely fine to get a bit annoyed at people so privileged and shallow that the biggest concern they appear to have in their lives is "what am I going to wear so the sycophantic press and peers will suck up to me?" when vast swathes of our species struggle to even satisfy the lowest part of Maslows Hierarchy.

It is one of the big events of a multi-billion-dollar fashion industry.  I don't care particularly, but it is a pretty harmless minor thing to get upset about given everything else going on in the world.

That's fair - there's far more money and resources wasted on "defense", for instance.

It does all however seem so very vapid, though.

Pretty much describing most of the population of the first world

Fair to say, though I wouldn't underestimate the degree of inequality that exists within the first world alone, as well.

Yeh true. But still not as extreme as the inequality between between anyone in the first world, who rely on the state to bail them out in hard times no matter the choices they've made, and the third world which you pointed towards in your initial post.

And tbf the decades of peace dividends and the state lavishing us with a hugely generous welfare state is soon to be over. We're all gonna have to be responsible for the long term consequences of our actions and soon.

Sadly, barring a massive degree of societal change in direction, I can offer no compelling evidence to the contrary there. Accurate.

Might want to close this thread if we're limiting it to life's genuine tragedies and not a space for moaning gits.

Is that a second moan?

I thought Diljit Dosanj looked class, the message only his back was very inspiring.  He represents Punjab with great dignity.

The dullards in the media (usually Chris Sutton) knocking our and Southampton fans for supposedly wild celebrations after drawing this weekend.

It is called humour. We are taking the piss out of ourselves about how bad we've been. It isn't serious. "Get the open top bus out"- oh do one.

At least we don't hide when we are shit unlike the "lifelong" Red....

So many people in the football media

are so far removed from what it’s like to be a fan - they should have the self-awareness to just shut up on occasion.

It’s a complete bubble of crap ex-pros and they’re mostly of room temperature intelligence too. At least Shearer, Neville, Carragher had incredible careers. Sutton, Murphy, Richards were toss.

I know the current trend is to wind people up and I think that nuance has been lost. It isn't just ex-pros, the complete berk Shaun Custis was doing the same this morning.

I read sites like the Guardian and Football365 and they tend to understand it a lot more.
