Staf Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 Foxes push on with bid for Jerome CAM AND JOIN US LEAGUE ONE Leicester made a cheeky bid to sign Birmingham City star Cameron Jerome (right). England Under-21 striker Jerome, 21, joined the Blues for £3million two years ago. Despite seven goals last term in 20 Premier League games Brum were still relegated. The Foxes may be without a manager but are still preparing for a promotion push, with defender Gareth McAuley set for a £1m switch to Ipswich. Bad news is it is from the News of the World not sure what they are like with football stories but i thought i would post this

Band news is it is from the News of the World not sure what they are like with football stories but i thought i would post this Yes Please!! Don't see it happening though, unless we give an unrefusable offer, offer Jerome more wages and he wants to play against the likes of Yeovil and Stockport week in week out.
SamL Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 Yes please. This has got to be one of the better rumours I've heard in the last few weeks. Despite it being a quality signing, I doubt he'd want to come here.

Guest shearfox Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 I laughed when I saw this its ridiculous, he could move to any championship side.
Matt Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 Deja Vu - Again! How many players will we rush to sign in a Milan/New manager combo - Should I start a sweepstake? (Or is there one already started :dunno) Is this the reason we signed 14 players last summer? Did Milan sign the majority of those players, not Martin Allen? Milan has admitted to signing at least one player, how many more is he responsible for? Don't get me wrong I don't see this as a bad signing should it happen but why does Milan need to stick his big conk in all the time? Why doesn't he concentrate on getting a good manager - I don't want him to rush it, as he struggles to make a half decent decision when he takes his time but when will Milan learn to keep out of team matters? The sooner we get Milan out this club the better.
MikeyT Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 Arguably the most miserable unintelligent guy ive ever heard speak. I remember when he was on Socceram last season and i wanted to actually strangle him! But as a striker in League 1. Yes please! hehe
AyewJoking Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 Cameron Jerome in League One!?! Even Milan and 5 more managers couldnt possibly screw that up!
Jonezy Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 Whauw, some agents are surely well bored by now.... Never ever going to happen.....
RedHux Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 Now I may not know too much about football. After all I am but a simple Forest fan, but surely it's traditional for a manager to pick players he thinks will play for him and in a way that he wants the team to play? We at forest have all sorts of safeguards these days against signing rubbish that no-one wants. Because we have signed a whole heap of shite over the years (andy impey and alan rodgers a 2nd time to name but two). But as far as I'm aware our chairman Mr Doughty has hired people who know a lot about the game then he does to do all the scouting and wheat from chaff sifting because he knows that chairman rarely make good judge of a player. Basically, does Mandy identify and sign players for you lot regardless of what anyone else at the club may have to say about it? Cos that can't be good. IMO.

The mirror says today mandaric wants to sign Darren Moore before he gets a new manager. Make of that what you want!
Flynny Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 Not only utter bollocks but suggests Mandaric is still making inquiries. The tit. If he was going to do this and then appoint John ****ing Gregory I'd much rather we'd have kept Holloway. Cameron Jerome is hilarious though, I love how he minces.
Finnegan Posted 18 June 2008 Posted 18 June 2008 Cameron Jerome is a self absorbed twat, he'll never come to League One Leicester! He'd shit on League One, mind.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 23 June 2008 Posted 23 June 2008 Mercury says it's been reported that we've made a bid, which is about as vague as you can get, isn't it?
