Sabalenka's ability to recover is impressive.

Both sets she's been down 4-1 or 4-2 and then just powered her way back into the game.

Amazing how many times the top player win games at that point of a set.

A man with just a power serve can take advantage of a break. Raducanu will always be in danger losing a set against players like Sabalenka even after being 5-0 up.

Women’s sets should be 5 not 3

They'd ahve to completely restructure the calendar for that, though, given that the time contraints are designed for 3-sets - the Grand Slams would probably need another week, which would then add to everything else.

Sometimes opponent is just better and that's it. Shame for Raducano but she gave a good account of herself.

I don't watch a lot of women's tennis but it felt one of the more competitive ones.

My ears are also hurting Sabalenka and I wasn't even there. My wife asked me if I'm watching porn again.

With a couple of laudable exceptions, yes.

Raducanu missed the boat tonight, but despite that, encouraging signs with how she’s played at times recently, slowly but surely, she’s heading back in the right direction.

Had an incredible day on centre court, what an experience 😁

Shame for Emma in the end, that world number one class shone through, just like Alcaraz (2) the game before.

Radacanu is lcfc.

One amazing out of this world tournament win when all the stars were aligned and then back to normality fir the rest of her career!!!

(Atleast we won the FA cup before being back to our yo yo years of obscurity!!!)

Raducanu played quite well but she makes far too many unforced errors, stopping her creating any real momentum.

Once Sabalenka raised her game in the second set, she couldn't cope with it. Too powerful for her.

I agree but they can't play 5 sets. They'll be dropping like flies and there's a massive risk of serious injuries. The argument of equal salaries/payments in sports is ridiculous by default.

The "equal pay" argument is always going to be subjective because the idea of "what" the sportspeople should be remunerated for is likewise subjective. Degree of physical/mental exertion? Amount of revenue brought to the sportspeople? Other factors? A combination thereof?

I certainly wouldn't want to say that just because women play three sets and so apparently (subjectively) put less effort into a contest, that they don't deserve the same pay as the men.
