Genuinely feel for the kid. Never has the term "victim of own success" been so relevant. The British media over reaction to anyone representing the UK with talent is toxic.

We've seen it with countless footballers but the reaction to this poor kid has been something else. She's clearly struggled a lot since and everyone micro analysing every "failure" as if she's not allowed to just be a young player learning her trade has been awful.

Love Emma! I'm sure she'll fight back and get back to top level! **** the tabloids!

Let's hope so, but the main thing is that she can somehow get past all the injuries she has, regardless of anything else...

She's great but she shouldn't have to live with the pressure of "getting back to the top." It would be fantastic if she could but it'd also be an amazing achievement even if she never wins anything else in her career.

Above all else I just hope she can stay healthy, physically and mentally, and really just enjoy playing. Doesn't look like the sport has been much fun for her over the last eighteen or so months.

Fab time at Queens today. Kind of expected that for Andy - 10 matches in two weeks and barely any time to settle into the new tournament is a lot for anyone, let alone with his physical disadvantage plus a very energetic opponent. Great to see Alcaraz again - he’s clearly still trying to figure out how to play on grass, but could do him good to come up with strategies which don’t involve relying on being able to run down every ball.

Can you see any of the young guns being a threat to Djokovic at Wimbledon?

Maybe if he has a bad day/injury.

Too soon I think.  Best bet is someone taking him out early on - the fact he doesn’t play a warm up tournament can always make him a bit vulnerable early on.

de Minaur clearly no slouch on grass then, into the Queens final.

Piss poor luck with the draw for Murray, evidently.

Won at Eastbourne last year and reached round 4 at Wimbledon so yes a danger on grass .

Murray will probably get Djokovic!

Was a bit too young to appreciate the emergence of Federer & Nadal, but watching Alcaraz emerge like he has, has been an absolute joy to watch over the past few years.

He is must watch television.

Been looking at the long range weather forecast when Wimbledon is on and it doesn’t look great but hopefully they are wrong about the rain as usual !!

It’s not quite as pressured now they play the middle Sunday. I can understand the logic to it, but I really miss manic Monday so much - it was always my day of choice to camp up for
