I hope they shut the roofs on Centre and Ct 1 as soon as, or before, it started raining. I don't think there will be any more play on the outside courts today.

Comfortable for Murray against Peniston. Will be a step up next round against most likely Tsitsipas, but he's beat him in worse states than he's in now. If he can take Tsitsipas's 3rd seed spot he might have a good run in to week 2.

Catching up on Alcaraz from earlier. Is it just me, or has his serve speed picked up quite a bit in the past few months. I swear I don’t remember him routinely hitting them this hard, but I haven’t heard any of the commentators mention it.

Nah - the equivalent would be the French Open doing that for British and US players (since France didn't agree with the 2nd war against Iraq), not Wimbledon.

Nice bit of Petra Kvitova to round off the day. I still maintain that her win in 2014 was the best grass court ladies performance I have ever seen

I think Murray is in great form forget queens in was battered and played more than he expected, Tsitsipas is a great player but I feel Murray will win. He has beaten him before when not so sharp

Norrie will for sure I can see that, you don’t stick around the top 10 without a game and I think he gets rather under appropriated. I can guarantee norrie achieves more than Henman. He goes about his business and if we had four or five like him that would be great

Big statement! Tim was a top 5 player, reached a load of grand slam semi finals, won quite a few titles including a Masters 1000. Cam is definitely heading in the right direction, but he's got a way to go to compete with Tim's record
