My earlier reverse-psychology wasn't supposed to be a prophecy dammit :P

I've been doing it all day with the cricket. It only seems to work when you mean it.

Not sure Liam's got enough left in the tank to take it to 5 sets :(

Nope. At least Katie Boulter is still in it, and also hoping Alcaraz has a good run to the final. He will need to play a LOT better than he did today though.

@rachhere are we anywhere near to having a special talent in the ranks?

I dont mean Andy Murray levels of special, but even just a potential Norrie would be something.

I do love watching Tennis but Wimbledon just loses a bit once the Brits are out for me.

Still think Emma Raducanu has the potential. In terms of men, Jack Draper for sure, if he can avoid getting injured every five minutes (he’s still going and growing though, so partly to be expected).

Raducanu is a busted flush.

She had one lucky tournament where she played out of her skin and everything went for her. I'd be amazed if she ever got to another WTA final.

She's set up now with all her sponsorships, so she doesn't even need to bother. She'll retire through injuries by 25 and then probably go into TV work.

We’ll see. Having seen in person her quality as she best a top 15 player earlier this year, I personally feel very confident that won’t be the case.

Might help if she stayed fit and settled down with one coach .

That's so negative, and not very nice.

As for British tennis, Draper is one to look out for but as far as potential Slam winners go, there doesn't seem to be anything. Which is a shame considering everything Murray has done to inspire the generation coming after him.

But you never know, there might be a surprise around the corner.

I'm not expecting any kind of result for Boulter tonight but hopefully it will be fun to watch.

Dart/Watson out of the doubles. Watson has not had a good tournament at all from what I've seen.
