Tilley Posted 1 August 2008 Posted 1 August 2008 Just had a phone call from the club, anyone who has pre-ordered the new away shirt cannot pick it up Monday as they are not ready. Representatives from Jako are due to fly in to try and sort out what is going on! Same old Leicester
Alexikokopops Posted 1 August 2008 Posted 1 August 2008 Tell you what, if I was paying £40 for a shirt that wasn't going to be used this time next year I'd be a bit peeved. Thankfully I didn't shell out for it.
MC Prussian Posted 1 August 2008 Posted 1 August 2008 Just wait for the 125th anniversary package next year.
Ryanside Posted 1 August 2008 Posted 1 August 2008 Just wait for the 125th anniversary package next year. Im hoping that its gonna be something special, even more that we don't renew with topps tiles aka sponge bob
Ashley Posted 1 August 2008 Posted 1 August 2008 I take it, its the same for people who have for thier shirts to be dileverd?
Daggers Posted 1 August 2008 Posted 1 August 2008 Can someone tell me why they'd pay £40 for something that is almost identical to this fifteen quid doppleganger?
Guest Posted 1 August 2008 Posted 1 August 2008 Can someone tell me why they'd pay £40 for something that is almost identical to this fifteen quid doppleganger? Black football shirts are big sellers. One could wear it to go out for Sunday lunch, now you couldn't do that with a red footy shirt.

Oh I see - so the extra £25 is for the tasteful sponsor and the ability to access tables at high-class Little Chef's and the like.

When I pointed out that if I buy a footy shirt, I want it to look like a footy shirt, the looks I got told me that I am very stupid. When I pointed out the black design looked like the black training top, I was ignored.

Guest Bilo Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Im hoping that its gonna be something special, even more that we don't renew with topps tiles aka sponge bob They might not renew with Jako either if there are supply problems bad enough to justify their representatives flying out. Adidas or Nike next please.

Asha Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 On a different note, as I can't be arsed to make a new topic for just a quick query. Can you get name/number put on a shirt bought a year ago from the megastore? Or can it only be done when buying a shirt?

thybluefox Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Can someone tell me why they'd pay £40 for something that is almost identical to this fifteen quid doppleganger? Racist And why is Vieira modeling out kit now?
Asha Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Anytime. You can get the name and number on an old shirt. Cheers lads.
Guest Bilo Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Ha. It just irritates when you look at the roll call of teams wearing Nike and Adidas. Franchise, Hartlepool, Hereford and Peterborough to name but a few. Why the bloody hell can't we do better? I think we'd sell more shirts if we did have a better kit manufacturer. Even a return to Le Coq Sportif would be welcome, I like the design of Man City's home shirt and to replicate that kind of design on our shirt would be great.
lcfcrinaldi Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Does anyone know anything about it? It says on the club store website thing that they need to be deliverd to leicester still! Is it going to be a long delay? I wanted it for the Dons game. Sorry if there has already been a "topic" about this, im just very annoyed.
