SOCCERROO FOX Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Hopefully gets himself some first team goals
Alexikokopops Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 First impressions.. He's getting mentioned in the same breath as Steve Fletcher (the housewives' favourite). That's good enough for me.

lildave3 Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 He's the housewives' favourite, that's what he is. Yes. The big bastard with the guns.
sdb Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Norwich scouting him! Delia wants a piece of him the little minx
Flynny Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Just found this out. I hope he gets in a bit of form if our strikers are still a bit tentative in the weeks to come.
Thracian Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 was it not last season you were moaning about our youngsters going out on loan? Totally different situation. I thought people like Gradel, King, Sheehan and even Beswick near the end, were well worth a first team and so it proved, at least to my satisfaction. There's no chance of Sappleton, McKay and Odhiambo getting in the team just now any more than Lee Cox. Furthermore we had a Reserves League team last season and we have no such thing this time so the circumstances have changed dramatically.
Corky Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Great to see him score today. A month or so of regular League football will do him the world of good.
Jimmy Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Made my day. some Bournemouth fans are already saying they want the loan to be extended for the whole season and asked if we (city fans) thought it was likely to occur, so they seem to be impressed with him after his 2 cameos

Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 I think this Bournemouth fan has struck gold here... Currently 95% Heskey, 5% Lenny Henry.
Daggers Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 Great strike from him. Looked like an uncultured lump at goal to me...but no doubt that won't stop people demanding he returns to us if we fail to put seven in the net on Saturday.

To be fair the ball was sitting quite high when he struck it, needed some technique to get the power on the ball they way he did, good finish IMO
Russell352 Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 Seen the beast play at Quorn - ledge, along with Levi! All the best to the lad at Bournemouth, lets hope he doesn't turn out to be another deep-freeze. Big up the sappletizer.

Thought it was a decent finish. You have to remember this isn't just any old footballer we are talking about so most things tend to get exaggerated to a certain extent.
