At first the cyclist seems like the biggest twat because he's basically cycling in the middle of the road with his camera, antagonizing motorists until one is inevitably stupid enough to rise to it, but to be fair that angry car man does a good job of out wankering him.

  

I used to cycle to work in London, you have to cycle away from parked cars because morons don't look before opening their car door. The cyclist was in the right.

A friend of mine was knocked off his bike on Uppingham Road summer 2014 outside subway; he was overtaking what he thought was a parked car when going up the hill but the driver opened her door without looking and twatted his elbow, sending him into the other side of the road. He's lucky that he wasn't run over by oncoming traffic, which just managed to stop in time. The woman admitted responsibility and still the police refused to do anything (as they did when my sister was knocked off hers at the smaller Hobby Horse roundabout by a drunk). Cut to now, he's still waiting for compensation and still struggles with his arm. Ever since I've steered well clear of the "door zone" when on my bike and receive similar abuse from drivers - more drivers need to understand what it's like on a bike and that a) they're allowed to use as much of the road as they need and b) that they're vulnerable road users and should be given as much time and space as a car would.
