Alexikokopops Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 Did someone say Mike 'Whitters' Whitlow? He's already playing for us if I learnt anything from that Crystal Palace game.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 Chris Powell has been on trial at Bournemouth. Got sent down for impersonating a left back so obviously hopped it before he got shut away in one of them old folks homes they seem to have plenty off down there. Mind you, he's 12 years younger than me and how I'd like to be in that position.
Lovejoy Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 Could have sworn I heard of him playing for some League 2 team this year . May have been a trial though.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 Could have sworn I heard of him playing for some League 2 team this year . May have been a trial though. Read my post above yours and enlightenment awaits.
Unabomber Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 He seems too old, but will leave it to Pearson to judge.
The People's Hero Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 Too old? To play for Leicester? Are you a raving lunatic?
jonw88 Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 It says something, if Bournemouth of league 2 don't want him, then why on earth would we? This has Jamie Clapham written all over it. We should be going for Man U's Fabio da Silva!
Dr The Singh Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 Too old?To play for Leicester? Are you a raving lunatic? That's what they said about me TPH, I can't wait to prove them wrong!!!

Mickey O'Neil Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 Is that when he keeps running back out and jumping That's the one I saw at Charlton away last year!
The Reverend Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 How much do you expect to hear about him? You've just heard he's on trial with us. That's more than you hear about most 38 year old footballers. I haven't heard much about Saviola recently, but I wouldn't mind us signing him. I tell you what as well - I'm going to buy some toast in a minute. Really lovely thick bread it is and boy does that place make a mean bit of toast. 90p for three rounds too - that's where the good money is - oh yeah. If they sell twiglets, I might buy a bag and see if I like them yet. Just like I've been doing with gin every now and again. At the last time of trying I didn't like gin and I didn't like twiglets. As for this Powell. I'd rather have Enoch Powell. Him or Enoch Showunmi anyway. Now there's a name. Steve Howard? Fu ck off. Where's the effort there? Pretty run of the mill name if you ask me. Steve. What kind of rapper is called Steve anyway? Enoch Showunmi... now there's a man who could do anything. Anything but play for us evidently. Fuc king powers that be - always ruining my fun, trampling on my dreams and pissing on my bonfire. I loved that bonfire.
Corky Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 Did someone say Mike 'Whitters' Whitlow? Now he was a miserable bastard. Even more miserable than Raj. Great free-kick though
