.....and

A 12-year-old boy riding a motorcycle with a three-year-old passenger has been seriously injured in a crash with a car in Bridlington.

Police said the vehicles collided on Woldgate, at 12:40 BST on Saturday.

The boy suffered serious head injuries and multiple fractures to his body. He was airlifted to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough.

The toddler sustained minor injuries and was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment, Humberside Police said.

The 12-year-old boy, who was riding a blue Yamaha motorcycle, was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, police said.

He is now in a stable condition.

Police did not say whether the three-year-old child, who was travelling as a pillion passenger at the time of the collision, was wearing a helmet.

A spokeswoman said she was "unable to give more detail" about the model of motorcycle, or the gender of the toddler.

The driver of the car, a 31-year-old man from Bridlington, suffered minor whiplash injuries.

Detectives have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

I assume the cvnts are the 12 year olds parents?

You are looking at it from a Western viewpoint though Mac, we shouldn't criticise the way other cultures behave we should welcome it and try and understand it.

Quite frankly, a culture that violates the freedom of its women and young men (sometimes) in this way can get fvcked.

I agree. But it is mainly individuals who have been influenced by their surroundings and associates. If you visited the Tory club Matt goes to for a year and mixed with the higher socialites you would be shaking David Cameron's hand this time next year. Not that i want to put ideas into Matt's head like inviting you, :)

I'd do it for the cut-price drinks and the cricket chat.

You ever tried to eat a scone on a horse? Not happening Ken.

We're using tramps as goalposts this season for a laugh.

Just because you are talking about spelling and wording. Colloquially almost works, but phonetically works better.

Middlesbrough woman dies after being bitten by police dog

Cleveland police said 'daily use of police dogs remains operationally important in reducing crime and disorder and protecting the public'. Like fook.

A 73-year-old woman who was bitten by a police dog as it searched for a suspect in her garden has died in hospital, police have said.

Surely if you batter a baby with a shoe and a bottle you would be  aware of what could be the result?

It has to be a bloody good reason for it to be reduced to manslaughter.

Still if as I hope they vote for independence they will be able to wave that silly little saltire next time they qualify for the world cup. And as for the scot idiot in the article below the main one claiming England is his adopted home but moaning about England flags being flown he needs to go home before someone makes him.

Don't get so shirty, Some of us have Scottish blood flowing through our veins, and I'm one, so bog off.

It has to be a bloody good lawyer for it to be reduced to manslaughter.

I keep reading baby batter on a shoe... Which alters the story a little.

Just noticed what you did. Yes a good lawyer would be needed to find the good reason. A crap lawyer would not research properly so therefore lose the case. If you ever are arrested make sure you have enough to pay for a good or dedicated lawyer.

What is your problem? I was agreeing with Bellall who changed reason to lawyer in my previous post.. A good lawyer would have found ways to reduce the charges. As in all trades and professions you get what you pay for so a good lawyer will cost more than a bad lawyer. Fact of life. Without seeing the case files I cannot say what reason the lawyer may have found. You and I may disagree with the findings but if it is in the law-book we can do sod all. Personally I would want the key thrown away but the law is there to protect the innocent from having an unfair trial and unfortunately that means the same for the guilty.Even the prosecutor may have agreed to the reduction if they believed the case for murder was not strong enough. They have to be flexible in order to obtain a conviction.

Far better than giving a trial after the punishment.

This Aussie couple. Even if they weren't prepared to take the child on themselves, they offered no financial help to the mother they lumbered with the baby. The other option would surely have been to take the child and offer it up for adoption back home to a family prepared to take the child on.
