maddog Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 67% thought we would beat Stockport, well you were wrong Just 18% predicted a draw and i was one of them What do you rekon this Saturday? Tranmere. I'm tempted to say another draw, but can't bring myself to vote for it, so il go for a win.
Guest Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 2-0 to us I reckon. Howard and Fryatt to score 1 each
Thracian Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 I don't see anything being easy about Tranmere and our left-back situation still worries me enormously. But I think the swiftness of our ball-retrieving should give us enough possession to win the game and to score two goals through Gradel and Howard. Tranmere will score once to end our run without conceding.
bigneville Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 You've got to fancy us to get our third home win of the season.
Daggers Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 The Mighty L1! Fortress Walkers! There can only be one outcome 0-0.
The Blur Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 A point apiece My memory of league one is not exactly great but I seem to recall that they tends to finish near or in play offs in the table and they got couple of players to watch so they could be dark horses and that is why we will share a point with them though my heart say "Win Win Win!" 1-1 due to various missed chances Provide me wrong City!
wirralsimon Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 Has to be a win. Went to Tranmere vs Hartlepool last weekend, and Tranmere are exactly the sort of team we should be beating if we are to have a decent chance of promotion. They have been awful on their two away games so far and I expect that to continue, but they might raise their game as they don't get many chances to play 'big' clubs these days. Craig Curran is their danger man, he probably won't be with them for long! Simon
Father Ted Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 I reckon a win. I reckon our home form will be amazing this year
merseyparadise Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 We havent had the best of starts, but i'll go for a 2-0 Tranmere win. This game could be like Leeds away last year. Curran and Tony Kay bullet header.
