purpleronnie Posted 23 August 2008 Author Posted 23 August 2008 No way is Leicester the 5th most violent place! If it is then england must be a pretty good place to live.
davieG Posted 23 August 2008 Posted 23 August 2008 As it refers to Nottinghamshire Area B they're probably just talking about one pub/club in Leicester City.
lavrentis Posted 23 August 2008 Posted 23 August 2008 Mansfield, isn't very good yet that's Nottinghamshire.
davieG Posted 23 August 2008 Posted 23 August 2008 Mansfield, isn't very good yet that's Nottinghamshire. Obviously not in Area B then.
Unit Posted 23 August 2008 Posted 23 August 2008 Aye spose it depends what area in leicester, obviously the stat's tar everywhere with the same brush

DJ Barry Hammond Posted 23 August 2008 Posted 23 August 2008 It actually states 'leicester city' - does that mean the Walkers is the 5th most violent place in england? I suppose with Dickov now in it could be possible?
AoWW Posted 23 August 2008 Posted 23 August 2008 In my experience, no way should Leicester be up there in 5th. Really surprised to see Southampton in 3rd too.
Ultra Posted 24 August 2008 Posted 24 August 2008 Well that's just nonsense. I have to agree. Where have these figures come from?
Finnegan Posted 24 August 2008 Posted 24 August 2008 I don't like Leicester, but there's no way it's more violent than Haringey, Brixton, Islington, Camden or any number of other London Boroughs that aren't Hackney.
NorthernFox Posted 24 August 2008 Posted 24 August 2008 The East and West End of Newcastle will match most areas for murder/death/kill.
mancunianfox Posted 26 August 2008 Posted 26 August 2008 Not at all suprised to see North Manchester (Salford/Cheetham Hill) so high up but I am REALLY suprised not to see Toxteth/Smithdown in Liverpool there. The only place in the UK I have ever felt unsafe at any time I was there.
