Finnegan Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 How do you use these in a game?Sorry for sounding daft, never done it before Put them into the tactics folder in your Sports Interactive > FM 09 folder in your My Documents. If there isn't one make one. Then in game, on the tactics screen you should have in the top right corner an option to load archived tactics? There'll be all the computer generated 442 ones et cetera. Then you'll have any you've saved and admist those will be Swans2 and Swans5 which are mine. Edit: I would like to add that these tactics work for me but I design them around the players I have available to me, around the style of football I want to play and around the team talks / motivations I know I'll use. I can't promise they'll work for you. All I can say is that I always have high expectations at the start of the season and I always manage to deliver. I don't consider myself an utter genius at this game and I'm not promising these tactics will turn you all into winners. They just work for me. =P

Most of Hakola's skills were generated on my game and he was crap on 9/10 loads, I only brought him once. I never use the January database anyway, it always feels weird to me, the player updates are nice but I don't like the transfers factored in. I'll continue to use the old database I've got backed up for new games I imagine.

Just keep a window running in the background like FireFox or MSN or something and Alt+Tab out. That's what I do. I hate windowed mode it feels so clunky.

Only 2 wins with 4 draws though One of the wins against Man United (3-1) and a 95th minute winner from Jose Baxter helped me beat Fulham (2-1). Put out a very weak side against Colchester - lost in Extra Time
