potter3 Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 Plenty of people have pace. Just some of them have a bit of finishing ability, too. I still remember Mark Gonzalez on 07. Phenominal pace, finishing and good composure as well as all the techique and flair you could want. Retrained as a striker and oh my days was he good. And he was a beast in the air

dandannieldanok Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 Doesn't he have a finishing of like 13 or something? 11 only improving to 12, and although the game says he's a striker I've always got the best out of him on the right wing. I bought him at the start of the 3rd season with Pompey for £10m and in 40 starts he's averaged 7.22 rating and scored 11 goals. He's worth £14.75m and I've had Liverpool bid £25.5m in January (which I firmly rejected). I'm sure you've found better players for cheaper, but if you've got the cash to spend I think Sanchez is a good investment.

With my Swans game I'm trying to keep it as Welsh as possible, though. David Edwards, Ched Evans, Wayne Hennesey, etc. Interested to see if Aaron Ramsey will be more eager to come now they've changed the patch to make players "not like to break throuh" at top clubs go to smaller teams.

Making full use of Leicester upto now I've had.. Mckay and Worley both for the season. Hayes, Beswick, John, Logan, Cox and Pentney for 3 months a piece. Only allowed two more 3 month loan deals but there isn't much to choose from now anyway.

You're not making me rush for it either now Powell and Hayles have been sold. DJ is at Blackpool, Odhiambo isn't on my game probably because he was released and Chambers plays in the first team. I wouldn't want Dickov.
stez Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 i need some decent defensive tactics, i got rushed into league2 as champs from the blue square prem, but now i'm getting spanked all over the shop, scoring's not a problem, i recently drew 4-4 with lincoln. i have completely mickyadams-ed my team though (ie only one player's left from the previous season)

Not just that, but for Yanited players like Messi, Ronaldo and Guardado can't beat their man, yet Scott Feckin' Parker dribbles past 5 of my players . I agree, it's sh1t.

I had two good wingers in Kalouda and Hugo and now they dribble slowly towards their opponent and either walk over the touchline with the ball or lose the ball in contact. The patch fix said something like (paraphrasing) "marginally slower dribbling speeds with increased dribbling intelligence to compensate." This has not happened.
