Ozwin Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 I've come to the conclusion that my team is ****. My strikers aren't good enough, my midfield is too injury prone and I can't find a tactic that does the trick. I've given them all time but they're just not cutting it.
potter3 Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 Not sure if this squad will be able to take me into the Champions League, or at least win a cup... Hopefully I will though, only missed out on 4th by 2 points last year, may be signing a left winger too which would improve me slightly.

While I was beating Spurs' 4-1 at Home. With 3 of my new signings scoring, Jimenez, Boulharouz and Tymoschuk. Utaka getting the other one.

The 78m will go into the clubs bank balance and will not get carried over into the next year therefore a new budget will be set

Matt Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 I have lost the love for this game at the moment, I keep trying to get myself into it again but I start playing then after a few minutes think "Nah fook this" and end up quiting the game. I go through phases on this game I can go playing it for months then all of a sudden go off it and not play for ages then i'll start it up again and get addicted. I have just got Leicester to the Premiership via the playoffs, back to back promotions from League 1 to Championship, Championship to Premiership, I think part of my problem and fear is that I know i'm going to get hammered in the Premiership and that is the main reason I can't really be arsed to play on that game at the moment.

Ozwin Posted 22 February 2009 Posted 22 February 2009 I remember on 2007, I got Kaka for like £10M and he absolutely obliterated the Premier League, he was like 32 but he still had it. I miss that game Kaka and Mati Fernandez tearing it up for me. I just wish I could have won them the Champions League. :'(
