knightonfox Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 I know there's no reason why anyone should think I'm genuine as have not regularly posted on here in the past. But I can honestly say that its not ' a friend of a friend' rumour. Whether you believe it or not is up to you. Just thought people would be interesd to know who it will be. Cant be 100% sure as the person who is involved in the designing is not a city fan and had no reason to remember the make of a random kit he was helping with the graphics on the advertising. A I ran through potential makes, Joma was the one that he said yes to. He seemed certain.

Its a side step if anything! As long as the shirts arent as minging as this seasons. The season we had Le Coq blue, and away being black with blue stripe are by far my fave. hope similar designs!! It'll probably be another repeat of the 06/07 shirt design competition. Pinstripes were asked for, pinstripes were received, and thanks to a poor implementation of a good design it wasn't the most popular. I envisage some people saying "the shirt seems just so empty without a sponsor, I shan't be buying it".

mattandjon Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 My friend works for a graphic design company that do shop designs and layouts - last Friday my friend started working on designs for Adidas for the club shops of Middlesborough and Leicester. He designed a sign saying "The New Leicester Adidas home strip" He says the graphic deadlines for all the work is March so i guess they can be all printed up for June time when we make our return to the championship - my friend does not like football so he did'nt talk about it in too much detail because he was'nt interested but he just mentioned it over the weekend to me! I know Mandaric has been unhappy with the quality and delays of the Jacko strip and it would suggest he invited offers !! Good news though in my opinion !!!
