I'm going to give some praise to Ricketts. Great target man play. Much better than Howard tonight.

Howards a fat lazy donkey and did fcuk all i think he was still happy from his goal on Saturday.

Not good enough tonight, plenty of possesion but we didn't create anywhere enough. I don't think Ince had too many saves to make. Walsall were decent in the first half without creating too much other than the goal.

Patience is not something that happends around The Walkers, i was getting so annoyed with fans shouting "get it forward", "attack" or "get rid of it" when we were keeping the ball around the half way line and then when the players listen to what the crowd say and hoof it, we lose the ball and it is met by groans. Some of the fans were awful tonight, we're second in the league, lost one game and every mis-placed pass is met by boos and groans. I don't think there was need for it, yes we weren't playing well but there's a few young lads out there who were feeling the pressure.

Looked very out of sorts for long spells, and only started playing with any urgency after the second equaliser. Is this our crap spell? At least we didn't lose.

The boo boys were out in force tonight - I cannot believe how quick people are to get on the team's back. We might have gone top of the table tonight, but because we didn't play as well as some would like the braying hordes have to make their feelings known, further depressing an already flat atmosphere. This is a new thing - 10 or 15 years ago the team had to be REALLY shit for it to happen, whereas now people start booing if they're not winning. It's turning into Old Trafford.

Lisa! I'm sorry I couldn't hear you. It must have been like trying to talk to someone's Grandad. I think you were either saying to me something about my run, or that you had the runs. One or the other

What the hell are you talking about? 10 or 15 years ago we wern't in the 3rd division ffs! :@

It was pretty obvious what the players were trying to do first half but fans can't seem to grasp it for some reason.

Tonights match was fustrating....Guess what? Get used to it!

Teams will continue to come here and do exactly what happened tonight. Play five in defence or midfield and fustrate the hell out of us. Like Millwall, Walsall's tactics worked a treat, possibly even better than they expected. Hat's off to them.

We gave away a very soft goal initially and then went chasing the game. We were caught napping at the start of the second half and then spent the rest of the match fustrated...not being able to find a route forward.

We passed the hell out of the ball because Walsall had so many man camped in their own half, especially in the last 30 minutes. Gradel and Dyer were marked out of the game for most of it and our route one, onto Howard's head, was met with stiff resistence from their equally big and tall centre back.

With limited options on the bench (ie keeper, old-age striker and three defenders), it was always going to be tough if we conceded first. Thank God for set pieces!

Definately two points dropped and questions being asked of some of our first team and our Manager's tactics.

Fickle Leicestershire im afraid, were in the middle, Chilled up North slow paced miners life, Stressed London folk with their rat race life style.

Midlanders are really a weird bread! FACT

I don't understand this! Why would you get annoyed with "get it forward" and "attack"? :dunno: we were playing a mediocre 3rd division side at home...have our expectation's dropped that low? I for one expect so much more from 11 players in Leicester City shirts than I saw tonight and they will get always praise from me when it's due and criticism when it's not!

Hobbs had a shocking first half. I'm guessing you were at the other end of the stadium or something. Unless you're stevie wonder? :dunno:

I think Hobbs was just generally shocking, what was he doing for their first goal?.

I don't see why some people think he is so good.

I can't wait for a Tunchev Kisnorbo start.

I genuinely think we missed Morrison tonight. He seems to be a decent leader of the back four, and when he plays, the defence as a whole look more on the ball.

Anyway, not a dreadful performance imo, I genuinely thought we were going to go on and win after both equalisers. However it was not to be, but how good is it to see (despite us not winning the game) us not once, but twice come from behind?

Of course I want us to get the ball forward and attack but only if there is something on. We were keeping the ball and waiting for an opportunity to play an attacking pass but every sideways or backwards pass was greeted with "what the fook you doing? Get it fooking forward". I could understand this in the last 20 minutes when we are chasing the game but this was happening straight after they scored the first. I'd rather we kept the ball rather than just punt aimsless balls to Howard who was winning nothing, fans complain if we hoof and complain if we try to keep the ball.

I agree, the players weren't good enough and deserve a bit of criticism tonight but I think the fans need to show a bit more patience before venting their anger at the players during the game.

Fully understand your sentiment and to do that against almost any Championship side would have probably been mildly pallitable but this IS the third division and we were at HOME!

My point is when was the last time it happened? I think the new squad has a character that's been missing for too long. Yes a draw is arguably not good enough, but over the course of the season, strength of character will be crucial in determining who finishes where in the table.

Well something's got to change because if we continue to play like we did tonight then we will drop more points than we win and end up stuck here for season after season...with or without the fan's venting their frustration......simple as!

Please please...a good win on Saturday against an arguably better side than Walsall and I will gladly swallow a large slice of humble pie although I have the feeling I might go hungry!

Fooking dreadful, i felt gutted walking out because our home form seems to be always a problem and this season looks no different. I felt like leaving at half time, the marking was schoolboys stuff and who missed that header first half from about 7 yards .. Was it king or Howard because it was shocking.

Pearson needs to give them a boot up the arse because we were crap.

Micheal Ricketts was class.

Thought their number 9 was awesome too. Chased everything and gave the defenders no time on the ball what-so-ever.

Yeah all awesome, lets hope we don't get them in the champions league in a few years

I'll tell you this now and while we're still near the top of the table ... we'll have no chance of promotion playing like we did tonight.

I've detailed some of the problems elsewhere but, put at its simplest, we've got to have more speed in the team, faster passing, much more moving and to have players who can and will drive forward in unison.

And we've got to cut out the sort of schoolboy errors which see giant strikers receiving crosses in the penalty area with no-one anywhere near them.

 Think about what you are saying. Has our season really fallen apart already?

Sorry to be pedantic, but we're third. :sweating: :sweating:
