Thracian Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 This is terrible. And Derby won 4-1 at Brighton. How bad have we become?!?! Don't be daft. It's part of the plan. City had read Daggers' views on this silly competition and the potential harm it could do to our League One title push. It was obvious. Even when the ball ran across the Rotherham line we didn't bother tapping it in and when Fryatt got a penalty, well, you heard what happened. Chambers never misses from six yards let alone hit the corner flag and so many other good chances were sent flying around the Don Valley sky we couldn't have been taking it seriously. Okay there'll be a bit of flak but it'll all be right on FA Cup night. And Daggers has already said he's not unhappy which, bottom line, was the whole point of the exercise.
