SantiagoFox Posted 28 November 2008 Posted 28 November 2008 Wankers. If anyone is travelling by train, they'd have long booked their tickets. I know their club and police shat themselves when Leeds came to town, wasn't expecting them to be the same with us but oh well... Unbelievable! We pay their wages and this is what we get ? Maybe lay on a bus to get to the station, but not hold you in the ground and then say bad luck. Sue the feckers!
C-man Posted 28 November 2008 Posted 28 November 2008 fooking outraged by that train news. How am I going to get to this one now? Fuming.
Ross-Kemp Posted 28 November 2008 Posted 28 November 2008 Just spoke to a pal from Carlisle, and he said, expect police everywhere. They don't know how to police a football game when a "big" team comes, so they just throw officers at it, hoping to solve the situation, so expect a big police presence <_<
Simi Posted 28 November 2008 Posted 28 November 2008 I am pretty sure terrorists would get better treatment than football fans. What basis is there to keep us behind? None.
Bert Posted 28 November 2008 Posted 28 November 2008 Just gives us 20 minutes to have a sing after the game.
Tilley Posted 28 November 2008 Posted 28 November 2008 Good job I'm not planning on getting the train to this one.
Maybes Posted 28 November 2008 Posted 28 November 2008 Perhaps a refund for the members of the public that the police force have just shat on wouldnt go a miss.

SantiagoFox Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 They will use the old "to keep us safe" line Spot on. Classic New Labour-style spin.
Tommeh Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Quick thing. I assume this 1,500 allocation will be in the corner of the stand, meaning once and if we sell these the next batch SHOULD be on the terrace. It may be open but a terrace is a terrace. So for once I'm actually hoping we sell these pretty quickly.

Tommeh Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Terrace with no roof = no atmosphere. Standing with no atmosphere beats sitting on your arse clapping along to Ring of fire like your 1st 20 mins at Rotherham. Part of the reason we all moved stands at Swindon.

Guest Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Spot on. Classic New Labour-style spin. Rubbish. The police have been doing this kind of thing for years, yes, even during the last Tory administration.
AoWW Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Just sorted my mini-bus for this. Come on the city Uh-oh. It'll be one big piss up if you lot go.
Ross-Kemp Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Uh-oh. It'll be one big piss up if you lot go. Isn't that the point
AoWW Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Isn't that the point And there was me thinking it was something to do with football?
Ross-Kemp Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 And there was me thinking it was something to do with football? I thought it was all about the beer
lildave3 Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 Not looking forward to this trip. It's gonna be long.
AoWW Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 Go then Hmmm... I wasn't gonna go, then I was, then I wasn't, then I was again. Right now, I'm not quite sure.
