Good luck Hume, i was annoyed when he left us (after saying he would help get us back up), but thats just because i knew how much we needed him this season, hes a great player who gives 100%. We don't have anyone as motivated as him at the club. Hope he makes a speedy recovery. I really do miss him this season, we really miss his character. HUUUUUUUUMMMMMMEEEEE

The more you see it the worse it gets. What's wrong with getting under the ball the normal way? He wasn't even attempting to jump when he did it.

If the damage is anything like Petr Cech at Chelsea then that scenario could be a distinct possibility. Cech has to wear a headguard permanently after his fractured skull injury and with Hume being an outfield player I don't think he'll be allowed to do something similar by doctors or the authorities. I sincerely hope that won't be the case but the elbow has caused internal bleeding and he's in a high dependency unit in hospital. It can't be a minor injury. He won't be able to head the ball if it's anything like that. If that's the case his career is over.

That was my thoughts earlier..... if that is the case then I really hope Barnsley proceed with legal action. At times what happens on the pitch should stay on the pitch but in this case there was intent in the incident and he can't be allowed to get away with it!

He'd be banned for life. I hope Barnsley do a service to football and do all they can to see that Morgan gets everything he deserves.
