Morgan won't get punished anymore (football wise) as he got booked by the most incompetent twat that refs the game.

I hope the **** is going to make a personal apology, and feels bad about what he's done. Getting done for assault would be a bonus, but I can't see it happening.

He wouldn't like it if it happened to him.

From that evidence it looked a calculated and blatant assault. Imagine what would happen to a fan doing that to a steward at the Walkers. He be banned for life.

I hope Barnsley do a service to football and do all they can to see that Morgan gets everything he deserves.

More importantly I hope the FA take the correct action. Too often they say 'well the ref gave him a yellow card at the time so there's nothing we can do about it'. Absolutely awful challenge, I hope he gets a long long ban. It's Monday and there has been no official apology either as far as I'm aware, which is real;ly disappointing.

I usually don't agree with the argument 'if that happened on the street the attacker would be sent down' line that is banded about when these sort of things happen, but after seeing that video, I hope Barnsley and Humey do all they can to get Morgan severely punished for his actions. Premeditated elbows have no place in football, so neither does Chris Morgan in my book.

Sheff Yoo play Reading at Brammall Lane this weekend. I might have to pay a visit to the Reading end so I can hurl abuse at the twat 'cos the F.A. won't have banned him. The only person that will face disciplinary action will be Simon Davey, which will make a further mockery of the 'Respect' campaign.

Morgan has a history of these sort of 'challenges'. Most red carded player in the Pigs' history and he's only been there 5 years. He wants the book throwing at him severely.

just seen the video christ that is bad humey should be allowed to have a free go at morgan with a baseball bat when he gets better morgan can see what it's like to be assaulted then should be 'x' rated :angry: :angry:

disgusting incident i hope the FA really crack down on this incident. Hopefully Hume will be back soon, i was browing a canadian football forum and hume's brother stu posted a comment here is below:

"this is Iain's older brother, just writing to say he is doing alot better. In regards to the tackle. was extremely dirty, just a lack of respect from one player to another. Unfortunately these things tend to happen, just unfortunate that a guy 6'3 or 6'4 decided to play the tough guy with a kid half his size. well done big man. James love the show, keep it up."

I'd have thought their insurance cover would probably take care of at least part of his salary etc. I imagine the legal action may be to do with the agressive nature of the assault rather than monetary compensation, but I could be wrong.

Putting aside the 'hard men' tag that some players have and we have had a fair share of them Taggs, Speedie, Walsh but they were fair in the tackle and took what they gave,

Chris Morgan is a thug and should actually be strung up and done for common assault, ABH if you please. NOT HAPPY.

Wishing Humey all the best in his recovery as he is such a genuine guy

Morgan is the lowest form of scum, as is D'Urso. The FA must act to ensure neither are seen again on a football field for a very long time.

Not holding my breath, though. I suspect the biggest punishment for this episode will go to Simon Davey. :angry::angry::angry::angry::angry:

Meanwhile, let's hope Hume makes a full recovery.

Morgan is an absolute clown. That elbow cant be condoned on any level. If the ref has seen a raised elbow it should be a straight red, why is he giving a yellow, it makes D'Urso equally a clown... Shocking :@ .

I thought that elbows were red cards, but Morgan should be band for a few games.

I remember when he was trying to get Stearman sent off, or was that Micheal Tonge? :unsure:
