Alexikokopops Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 Been moved to a high dependancy unit after his condition deteriorated yesterday and he had surgery http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ley/7719713.stm
davieG Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 I didn't know about this! That Morgan is a hard case. All the best Hume.
Ric Flair Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 Deary me, hadn't heard about this until now. Hope he recovers soon.
Jay Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 I didn't know about this! That Morgan is a hard case. All the best Hume. hard case is a massive understatement imo the bloke is an animal it's obvious he has little talent and uses aggression to make up for it the amount of times he goes in with his elbows high is a disgrace, he also likes a stamp, a shirt pull and any other dirty tricks he can think of to make up for his lack of talent and winning the ball fairly. oh and as Morgan was booked it suggests to me that this was typical Morgan and a totally over the top challenge no doubt elbows first aiming for the man then ball
AmericanScott Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 I know i've slammed him for leaving us, but this is horrific. Get well soon Hume.
Corky Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 I hope he gets better soon. Morgan is a thug, typical Warnock-managed player.
filbertway Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 That doesn't sound good. Good luck recovering humey.
The People's Hero Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 Morgan vs Hume. That was never going to end well for Hume's skull.
Barnsleytyke Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 Not sure if this guy is still popular at your place, but following an incident during the Barnsley Vs Sheff U game this weekened he is currently in a high dependency unit following emergency surgery yesterday lunch. He is suffering from a broken skull.
Barnsleytyke Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 Had two seperate goes at Hume. 1st one Hume laid on ground for a minute or so, Morgan stood over him mouthing on. 2nd time he connected clean with the elbow and again he fell straight to floor. Ref bottled it because 2 minutes earlier had sent the other CB off.
Stevosevic Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 Get well soon Hume. But not really sure how serious it is, similiar to Cech's injury?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 I misread thread title and thought it said Hume and his skill, thought was gonna be an ex-player bashing thread too long after the fact. This is much worse news however. Get well soon HUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmeeeeeeeeeee!!!
Munzie Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 Forever the little terrier, never giving in and outjumping players much taller than him. Let's hope he's back playing football real soon. Best wishes.
davieG Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 Can't find it on YouTube but found Morgan attack on Freedman Best view around 28 seconds - then pretends it's a clash of heads. http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=54828
