Did you go down Bert?

Or was it behind closed doors?

It was behind closed doors.

Was at the training ground, which is now off limits anyway.

A Leicester City reserve side featuring DJ Campbell and Paul Dickov eased to a 3-0 victory over Kidderminster Harriers in a behind closed doors friendly at the Belvoir Drive training ground on Tuesday afternoon.

Both the City strikers were keen to impress - with targetman Steve Howard ruled out of this weekend's League One clash against S****horpe United due to suspension.

And the duo each got 45 minutes of action under their belts on the day - with Campbell keeping his cool midway through the first period to give the Foxes the lead.

Kerrea Gilbert, Nicky Adams, Max Gradel and Radi Kishishev were also included in the side for the game - but it was second half substitute Ashley Chambers who would grab the other two goals.

Assistant first team manager Craig Shakespeare said: "The game gave us the opportunity to give a lot of the lads a run out who have not been starting of late, and we are very grateful to Kidderminster for getting a side over here.

"It was a competitive contest and all of the players will have got something out of it.

"DJ has taken his goal well in the first period - as did Ashley with both of his efforts in the second half.

"It was important for us to take a look at the lads ahead of the weekend and we will now continue with our preparations for the S****horpe game."

City: Cisak, Gilbert (Cox 62), Rowe-Turner, Magunda, Beswick, Gradel (Odhiambo 62),. Kishishev, Trialist, Adams (Porter 62), Campbell (McKay 46), Dickov (Chambers 46).

I'm told Kishishev played really well in midfield as did a young Asian lad who played at the back I think, not heard his name before though.

Yusuf?

I think Thracian mentioned him in one of his reserve match reports.

I think he came on as a forward in the last FA Youth Cup match so we could be talking someone different, is Yusef a trialist :dunno:

I haven't got the slightest clue who he is, I'm afraid.

I've just heard that name been thrown around, and thought that was the Asian lad Ched was on about.
