I've decided it's time to ask the girl on a date, but you know what I'm like! How does this sound: Bring up a movie that's been recently released. Ask if she's seen it. If she has, you've opened the door to talking about films. If she hasn't, ask her if she'd like to. Does that drop a big enough hint that it's a date? Cheers!

I had a chat to her best friend and it turns out the girl I like is a wee bit like me, lacking in some confidence, and hasn't been in a serious relationship before. I feel our friendship has blossomed since I used Katy's number advice, and I reckon the time is about right to ask her out for some lunch. Whatever the answer is to my lunch offer, my confidence won't be knocked any more.
