maddog Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Im glad we didn't get him now. What a disaster. Nearly half way through the Prem season and Blackburn are 19th, they were in Europe and looking like a force that could squeeze into the top 4 under Hughes. Finally a manager that a lot of fans wanted including me, that has done shit at a club else where. They play Stoke, Wigan and Sunderland in their next 4 league games utterly crucial, if they fail to get 4 points+ from those they are in deep shite. With Man Utd away and Liverpool up next, o dear o dear Incey. Im really, really glad we have Pearson now

The Stig Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Yep, because 4 months in to the new season it's not going well, that automaticly means he'd have been crap here, even though he'd be doing a COMPLETLY different job. Sounds about right.

With Man Utd away and Liverpool up next, o dear o dear Incey. Im really, really glad we have Pearson now Mark Hughes was probably the reason Blackburn consistently finished in the top half. Same with Allardyce at Bolton and Curbishley and Charlton. Look at what happened when they left. Pompey will most likely suffer with Harry gone and giving the job to somebody with no experience. Ince could well take Blackburn down (if given the chance) but Pardew took Charlton down, and I certainly wouldn't mind Pardew being in charge of us right now. It just seems to me that Ince isn't ready for the Premier League yet, not that he's shit.

Im really, really glad we have Pearson now He's struggling at the moment, he's overrated, he's in the Premiership too soon, but he'd easily do well in the lower leagues, as he's shown before. I didn't want him but I don't want to see him struggling. He's done nothing to me or our club so why would I?
Tevez Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Paul Ince just rang me and told me to say you are a TIT.
sdb Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 probably bitten off a little more than he can chew but i still reckon he'll be a really good manager in a few years. i don't think you can say he'd have failed here. in fact i think he'd have done very well. i expect they'll pick up 6/7 points from those 4 games
Anish Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 One step too far in my opinion. How many other Premiership managers have been appointed straight from League Two? It's only because he's a big name, high profile person that Blackburn appointed him. But his lack of Premiership experience is showing and will probably cost them if he stays.
DB11 Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 Prem is a big step up from League One. Yes, and considering he stepped up from League Two the gap is even greater
The Stig Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 Yes, and considering he stepped up from League Two the gap is even greater Very true. I thought it was too much of a step up at the time. That still doesn't mean he'd have been bad here though. League 1 is a different matter. But having said that I'm glad we've got Pearson.
Tilley Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 I think your all racist !! I agree, if he was white this thread would never have been made. On a serious note, Ince took the step up far too quick in my opinion, another season or two in the lower leagues would have done him the world of good.
The Stig Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 I think your all racist !! Oh my god! You've pointed out my faults, I now see how awful I have been. I feel I cannot live with myself. I'm so sorry. Obama for president!

You've pointed out my faults, I now see how awful I have been. I feel I cannot live with myself. I'm so sorry. Obama for president! It is ok, I forgive you. As a punishment for you though, I am sending Kimbo Slice round for tea. He requested that you dress in a maids outfit.
purpleronnie Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 I think Ince was on a hiding to nothing, Mark Hughes did wonders at Blackburn and they have been punching above their weight for a while, I was really surprised when he took the job but I guess Premiership jobs are tough to get but blackburn...mistake.
Shrenchel Posted 1 December 2008 Posted 1 December 2008 Still think he would have done a job here. Not sure NP would be doing too much better if he was at Blackburn.
Lovejoy Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 It's not that Ince is sh1t, it's just one of those jobs, like Charlton with Curbs, LCFC with MoN, how United will be after Fergy. No offence to Blackburn, but really they have been punching above their weight under Hughes, and things change. Looks like the same will happen at Pompey.
Phube Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 I think your all racist !! I think grammar lessons are needed!!!
maddog Posted 16 December 2008 Author Posted 16 December 2008 I told you all it was a disaster, now hes gone.
