Alexikokopops Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 well i'd at least invite him for a trial for a week or 2 and have a look Do you really think we have any chance of affording his wages?
Narborough Bod Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 well i'd at least invite him for a trial for a week or 2 and have a look Why?, our keepers are adequate for the level we are playing at. If we get promoted we can look for another keeper, but one who is a lot younger than Walker, who will be 38 by then.
Jimmy Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 Do you really think we have any chance of affording his wages? I don't know how much he'll want, at 37 playing might be more important to him then money as he aint exactly broke
jonno24 Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 Link Im quite worried coz you seem to have David Martin in your sig
Alexikokopops Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 I don't know how much he'll want, at 37 playing might be more important to him then money as he aint exactly broke I think the fact he was willing to sit on the bench for three years quite happily without playing a single league game indicates he's not that fussed about playing.
The People's Hero Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 I've heard Perry Digweed's name floating around at Filbert Towers over the past few days.
Corky Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 Fraser Digby should get a chance. Or Pavel Srnicek.
Alexikokopops Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 I've heard Perry Digweed's name floating around at Filbert Towers over the past few days. I've heard Big Nige is keen on Fraser Digby after he found his washbag down Evington Leisure Centre.
Corky Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 I've heard Big Nige is keen on Fraser Digby after he found his washbag down Evington Leisure Centre. Got there before you Kokopops
Alexikokopops Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 Got there before you Kokopops Ah, but you forgot the bit about his washbag. Vital, that is
Corky Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 Ah, but you forgot the bit about his washbag. Vital, that is My fault, you win
Jimmy Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 I think the fact he was willing to sit on the bench for three years quite happily without playing a single league game indicates he's not that fussed about playing. maybe your right, I don't particularly like either of our options atm so I'd be trying to get the new no 1sorted before next summer as as yet neither of the current 2 are signed up beyond that
The People's Hero Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 What is all this stuff about Fraser Digby's washbag? Rumour is that Big Digbo and the Perrymeister want to fight for the starting spot. Just like at Swindon circa 93 EDIT: I'm talking complete shit. Digweed never played at Swindon. What the fu ck am I on? I was convinced he did? I wish he had.

Just like at Swindon circa 93 Someone texted into 606 once (Danny Baker slot) and said they were a mascot for Swindon and nicked Fraser Digby's washbag, or something like that.
Alexikokopops Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 Someone texted into 606 once (Danny Baker slot) and said they were a mascot for Swindon and nicked Fraser Digby's washbag, or something like that. And that's lead to him singing a song about it every week to a popular tune. The latest was to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, in a duet with the man himself.
martyn Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 I'm well up for signing both Perry Digweed and Perry Suckling.
DB11 Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 all these people slagging Martin are the same people that not so long ago were slating Henderson No I have never slated Hendo I think he's wicked but I've always said Martin aint good enough
The People's Hero Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 I'm well up for signing both Perry Digweed and Perry Suckling. Indeed. But I totally draw the line at Chris Perry.
Dr The Singh Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 Steve Ogrisovic, he's the finest specimen of man there ever was!!!!!
Jay Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 what about John Burridge? The Trevor Benjamin of Goalkeepers having played for 29 clubs!! ok he may be pushing 60 but it could mean he has the desire for a comeback and make it 30 clubs!!
Koke Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 Both Martin and Henderson are good enough for this division. We'll plan for the Championship when we actually get there. No point in looking forward to something that isn't guaranteed.
Corky Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 We've got to try and sign Neville Southall. Legend (and just for Finners).
