I would have said certain win, but with Gary Mc sacked im not so sure.

Fook it il still say win :scarf:

As i said weeks ago in my sig, Leeds are fooked without Beckford. And since he was injured they have lost every game i think including Histon.

And i think Beckford will still be injured won't he :dunno:

Andy Robinson and Jermaine Beckford could return to first team contention for Boxing Day's Elland Road clash with Leicester City.

The duo have both been sidelined after suffering hamstring injuries - but the two players returned to light training on Saturday morning.

Becks suffered the injury during the 2-1 league defeat at Northampton on November 25 and has been sidelined for almost a month.

Robbo limped out of the FA Cup tie at Histon at the end of the same week, and has been absent for three weeks.

Former manager Gary McAllister confirm after Saturday's 3-1 defeat at MK Dons that the duo had returned to training and could be in contention for Boxing Day's game.

Over 30,000 tickets have been sold for the clash with league leaders Leicester City.

Tickets for the 3pm KO are still available and fans are advised to book in advance to avoid queues on the day.

That does smell a little of city like spin!!!! "Ooooh our best player will be back, come and buy lots of tickets thinking we have a chance of winning now!!!"

****it..going for the win & why not!? 2-1 City :chant: Leeds fans don't appear to be inspired if Poyet gets the job.

The Tunch will have Beckford in his pocket...if The Tunch doesn't eat him first!!!

2006-07 Hull (A) Won 2-1

2007-08 Ipswich (H) Won 2-0

Can't see it being a hat-trick, though.

Leeds will be up for this big-time for the new boss, and we are due a bad game. :(

They'd sold 30,000 by the weekend so I doubt it.

It's spin all the same though, trying to get something positive to say from the last five matches and being managerless must be pretty tough.

Whoops, my bad. I wish i remember the wins rather then the embarassing defeats :P

Gee, I had us drawing with them a few weeks back when things weren't yet looking so bleak for Leeds. Yes, I do see the danger of facing a team that has just ditched its manager and has a few better players (supposedly) returning to the starting lineup.

However, now I feel with the run we're on and the last few Boxing Day experiences, we can nick this one.

3-2 to us. Should be a cracking game - yes, yet another. Leeds will fight hard, but we shall prevail.
