maddog Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 I would have said certain win, but with Gary Mc sacked im not so sure. Fook it il still say win As i said weeks ago in my sig, Leeds are fooked without Beckford. And since he was injured they have lost every game i think including Histon. And i think Beckford will still be injured won't he
davieG Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 Leeds OS Andy Robinson and Jermaine Beckford could return to first team contention for Boxing Day's Elland Road clash with Leicester City. The duo have both been sidelined after suffering hamstring injuries - but the two players returned to light training on Saturday morning. Becks suffered the injury during the 2-1 league defeat at Northampton on November 25 and has been sidelined for almost a month. Robbo limped out of the FA Cup tie at Histon at the end of the same week, and has been absent for three weeks. Former manager Gary McAllister confirm after Saturday's 3-1 defeat at MK Dons that the duo had returned to training and could be in contention for Boxing Day's game. Over 30,000 tickets have been sold for the clash with league leaders Leicester City. Tickets for the 3pm KO are still available and fans are advised to book in advance to avoid queues on the day.
Collymore Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 gone for lose, got a bad feeling about this one.

That does smell a little of city like spin!!!! "Ooooh our best player will be back, come and buy lots of tickets thinking we have a chance of winning now!!!"
Mickey O'Neil Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 ****it..going for the win & why not!? 2-1 City Leeds fans don't appear to be inspired if Poyet gets the job. The Tunch will have Beckford in his pocket...if The Tunch doesn't eat him first!!!
Guest seanfox778 Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 unfortunatley i chose lose because we always have awful results on boxing day, Rotherham at home anyone?
potter3 Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 We all hate Leeds SCUM We do? unfortunatley i chose lose because we always have awful results on boxing day, Rotherham at home anyone? Didn't we win last season on Boxing Day? or was it the season before? or am I talking shit?
Alexikokopops Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 Didn't we win last season on Boxing Day? or was it the season before? or am I talking shit? Last season I think, against Ipswich. Or did I make that up?
The People's Hero Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 6-3 to the boys in blue (Leicester City FC)
Ultra Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 2006-07 Hull (A) Won 2-1 2007-08 Ipswich (H) Won 2-0 Can't see it being a hat-trick, though. Leeds will be up for this big-time for the new boss, and we are due a bad game.
Fox You Forest Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 and we are due a bad game. You said that last week, Keep it coming.
Granno Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 I said draw, i'd be quite happy leaving there on Friday with a point.
Edmund Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 looks like grayson will be there manager http://www.oddschecker.com/football/footba...rmanent-manager
JakeShingler Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 Last season I think, against Ipswich. Or did I make that up? 2-0
Daggers Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 That does smell a little of city like spin!!!! "Ooooh our best player will be back, come and buy lots of tickets thinking we have a chance of winning now!!!" They'd sold 30,000 by the weekend so I doubt it. It's spin all the same though, trying to get something positive to say from the last five matches and being managerless must be pretty tough.

maddog Posted 22 December 2008 Author Posted 22 December 2008 Glad Grayson's manager he may let us win
Father Ted Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 As long as we have Tunchev we're not going to lose.
DB11 Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 Oops I voted the wrong one. I put draw and I meant loss.
dandannieldanok Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 I reckon if they don't get a manager in then we'll win but if they do then the new manager bounce is likely and therefore I voted draw.
MC Prussian Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 Gee, I had us drawing with them a few weeks back when things weren't yet looking so bleak for Leeds. Yes, I do see the danger of facing a team that has just ditched its manager and has a few better players (supposedly) returning to the starting lineup. However, now I feel with the run we're on and the last few Boxing Day experiences, we can nick this one. 3-2 to us. Should be a cracking game - yes, yet another. Leeds will fight hard, but we shall prevail.
