hhmm well what can i say about davies ive only seen him play once

but when i saw him play i thought what the hell

why have we loaned this donkey in

he can charge at people and sometimes scare defenders but he is rubbish at shooting passing tackling etc things that are essential

That's right - finally the voice of reason and sense is heard

The voice of reason and sense and Stella and lobotomy.

Wolves fan here, i come in peace.

We have very high hopes for this lad at Wolves, but he just needs to stay fit.

just wondering how hes been playing?

I have heard their is a possibilty that we may call him back to play in our FA Cup match vs Birmingham City but if he is playing with you i would rather he stay at Leicester

If i am been honest i dont think you have any chance of keeping him, but good luck for the rest of the season and lets hope we both go up.

Stearman is class by the way

You can't play him, we played him in the 2nd round against Dagenham & Redbridge, so he's cup tied. Which is surprising that McCarthy allowed us to play him in the cup if he is valued at Wolves by Mick.

The lad oozes class and I actually think he is currently a better player than your current first team central midfielders, I was a big fan of David Jones but he hasn't imposed himself as much as I thought he would and i'm sure Davies would offer more right now than him. However, McCarthy's always been a bit of a helmet and I hope to dear god he allows us to keep Davies, even if it's only for a few more months.

Cheers

One of the quickest central midfielders I've ever seen outside of the Premiership I think.

Agreed, which compensates for King's lack of pace. Quite a good balance as we keep our shape nicely and allows Davies to run amok. I think he could really tear Hereford a new one tomorrow.

I believe Hereford have quite the collection of new ones that various average League One sides have torn for them this season. If we don't beat them I will be appalled.

I think it could be time to try and get Gradel's confidence and form back by letting him off the leash on the left wing tomorrow for Dyer, who has been fairly quiet in recent weeks even if he's still putting a shift in. I feel we're in danger of wasting Gradel's ability by not giving him the freedom to do what he did last season at Bournemouth. I don't hold out much hope though as Pearson hasn't once given him a go on the left, he'd be more likely to play Adams there if he needed someone to come in for Dyer. Shame really.

I can't see him playing Gradel at all which is a bit of a shame I agree. Dyer should destroy Hereford even in this poor run of form.

It might be wise to see Tunchev play in The Champoionship first before we declare that he's better than a guy who seems to be helping his own team back into the top flight for the first time in decades.

I see many qualities in Tunchev. He's exactly the sort of Ian King-type centre-back I've wanted us to have for years. But better than Stearman? I hope so. But we'll see.

Wolves, in the Premier League for the first time in decades?

I think you will find they were relegated back to the Championship in 2003/2004.

And Tunchev, is better than Stearman. As his senior international caps may suggest!

Thracian only likes young players who have come through the academy but we all know Tunch is better than Stearman.

I can't see Dyer doing much against a packed Hereford defence he thrives when teams attack us leaving space at the back for him to exploit, when he's got 2 or 3 guys in front of him he finds it difficult to influence the game and needs much more support from an overlapping fullback.

I'd be interested to know how many crosses he's actually sent across, not too many I would imagine.

Shows how much I follow Wolves cos I'd forgotten they spent one season in the top division since 1984.:thumbup:

And I've heard all this nonsense about senior international caps before, particularly when Kaebi was here.

Lots of people get international caps playing for no-hope nations.

I wouldn't class Bulgaria as no-hopers by any means - they reached the World Cup semi-finals in 1994 - but they are a small footballing nation and will only rarely challenge the stronger teams.

If Stearman was Bulgarian I'm quite sure he would be a senior International by now and if he lived in one of the weaker countries he'd have stacks of caps.

I've only seen him once but he looks like the central midfielder we've been missing for a few years now; comfortable in possession, makes positive runs with or without the ball, tackles well and is a general nuisance to the opposition. Way too good for League One and here's hoping Mick McCarthy doesn't realise that.

And didn't they recently hold Italy to a scoreless draw and didn't Tunchev play. Of course Italy are only the current world champions so this probably should be considered a competitive match between two no hopers.

To compare Iran with Bulgaria is ridiculous.

Perhaps Stearman has an Irish grandparent?
