ousefox Posted 3 January 2009 Posted 3 January 2009 4-5-1 i think Martin Gilbert Tunchev Hobbs Mattock Gradel King Davies Berner Dyer Howard couldn't catch subs
ousefox Posted 3 January 2009 Posted 3 January 2009 bench: Campbell Morrison Adams Porter Dickov Chambers Powell
shen Posted 3 January 2009 Posted 3 January 2009 bench:Campbell Morrison Adams Porter Dickov Chambers ...and 1 more! A keeper maybe?
Mark Posted 3 January 2009 Posted 3 January 2009 So long as Dyer and Gradel are playing just behind Howard and not in a 5 man midfield this could work, Palace play a similar system. Shame Oakley isn't there. A keeper maybe? Nope no keeper today.
ousefox Posted 3 January 2009 Posted 3 January 2009 A keeper maybe? No keeper as Cisak is ill apparently
ousefox Posted 3 January 2009 Posted 3 January 2009 Isnt Davies playing for Wolves today? He goes back after this game i think unless we renew his loan.
Simi Posted 3 January 2009 Posted 3 January 2009 Oakley too busy in Nottingham looking over his Forest contract. If Gradel plays anything like he did in pre-season against Palace, we will win this easily.
egg_fried_rice Posted 3 January 2009 Posted 3 January 2009 Hope we don't line up 4-5-1; why change what has been a winning formula for us so far? Palace should be a reasonable draw as far as the crowd is concerned, we are at home, all conditions are conducive for us to play some attractive attacking football. Glad to see a couple of key players have been rested, yet we are still fielding a side who should be able to compete and hopefully win. Would have liked a tasty DJ/Howard combo upfront. C'mon citeh, this website and live updates are gonna keep me sane this afternoon as I spend my bloody weekend revising for final year exams. Give me something to be happy about! 2-0 city - Gradel & Howard.
StaffordFoxed Posted 3 January 2009 Posted 3 January 2009 Hi....I think this is my first post...But how are we doing? Haven't got sound and all i am relying on is here and Flashscores...Nothing seems to be happening..Oh and it was good that Stoke lost Thanks
Thracian Posted 3 January 2009 Posted 3 January 2009 Clever selection by Pearson. Some point to it. Had I known Gradel would be playing and Porter might have been involved I might have bought a ticket. But I didn't and the club didn't bother telling anyone.

One of our problems in the past was having no plan "B" and being too inflexible in our approach.
