Aeropars Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 Alright guys? I really want to go to a couple of away games this season now i've quit my DJing. I have a season ticket and go home games on my own which i'm cool with. Is there a group of people who meet up at away games? I wouldnt mind joining in the fun if anyone does. Lee
General Smuts Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 Look out for the FT flag - us lot are the ones under it.
Corky Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 Look out for the FT flag - us lot are the ones under it. I saw you at Orient Smuts, and you weren't under a flag

Lee I used to go to both home and away games on my own. After a while, you start getting recognised, and then you never get any peace and quiet.
Koke Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 I've been to a fair few away games this season and I ain't seen any of you lot. I saw some 5'2'' fella at Huddersfield but when I looked closer it wasn't lildave as I initially thought.
Corky Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 I fear my anonymity from people on this forum will go soon and I'll be jumped upon (for better or worse) at away matches in the future
C-man Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 I used to go to both home and away games on my own. After a while, you start getting recognised, and then you never get any peace and quiet. We're a nice bunch though, honest. Add people on facebook (if you've got it), from the facebook thread in general chat and have a chat with them. They'll always be a lot of us going to the away games so you'll have a lot of company. Obviously, Lisa did it the old-fashioned way...
clazkel Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 I go home games with my dad, bro, uncle and my bros girlfriend, and away games sometimes i go with them, but afew times i have been on my own, and if its away games in london area i meet my bro there coz thats where he works in the week. If you go by Fox Travel everyone is pretty friendly so u dont feel too silly being a loner
Simi Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 As has been said, start adding people on Facebook or come to the FT match that's coming up soon. See the thread for date. See who you get along with and go from there.

Guest Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 Obviously, Lisa did it the old-fashioned way... Did I tell you we used to travel on horse and cart?
Corky Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 Did I tell you we used to travel on horse and cart? My Dad said they used to park on Walnut St

James. Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 The big white fooker, just in case you were thinking of striding up to Karim and shouting "Maybes" at him. But not the really big white fooker if I happen to be in attendance, which admittedly this season hasn't been as often as I'd like.
Bert Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 But not the really big white fooker if I happen to be in attendance, which admittedly this season hasn't been as often as I'd like. That's because you're too busy poncing about on boats.
Alexikokopops Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 If you come along to the FT game and chat away you'll meet a lot of people. Not me though, I'm an ENIGMA
James. Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 That's because you're too busy poncing about on boats. It's true. However. I'm at the Walkers this Saturday AND at Palace next week. I'm on a roll.
The People's Hero Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 But not the really big white fooker if I happen to be in attendance, which admittedly this season hasn't been as often as I'd like. SPA!!!!!!!!!!!!
Corky Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 and the rest of us are twats or both in my case Zingari, where do you sit? I'd love to spend a match in your company
Shrenchel Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 Going away games on your Js is pretty shit now. Where I started doing aways there would usually be loads of leicester lads on the train who you could get chatting to, go for a pint with before the game. Hardly ever get that nowadays, most people drive I guess.
