But I'd pick Dyer ahead of Gradel, apart from the goal I thought he was quite poor last night, though I haven't witnessed Dyer's recent displays...

I have a lovely old comfy chair, although the dog tends to get to it first most times. It's a wonderful thing that you can just relax in. It doesn't look like very much and is a bit grubby, the material is pretty worn too. I reckon my chair has a better chance of making an impact on the pitch than Dickov.

Hopefully Chambers will partner Howard (obvs if Fryatt isn't fit) and the pace of Gradel should scare the opposition defenders. Chambers seemed to have impressed on Wednesday and would be nice to see how he does if he starts the match. Whoever plays, we need a big win to show that we can still cope without Tunchev.

CosbehFox Posted 15 January 2009 Posted 15 January 2009 As my Dad pointed out to some fella at the Palace game, Dickov's had back surgery for a slipped disc. He'll probably never be the same again or if he does, it will be a couple of months before he's comfortable enough to throw himself about.

That's not saying Hobbs and Morrison are crap (between them, they've helped a defence concede only 19 goals in 24 league matches), but Tunch looks so in control and calm, Morrison and Hobbs less so.
