Season ticket Prices Frozen

March 15 is far too early. That means another £498 to cough up 3 months in advance compared with last season.

This will annoy everybody bigtime around me, me included, at tonights game.

Am I correct in assuming if I don't renew by March 15 then I'll lose my seat, or just my rights to a price freeze?

Whichever, it's a bit tight considering the current financial climate.

Oh, and a word of warning, if you choose installments, like I did this season, make sure they don't take an extra payment from your account after the final one is taken. To my horror I found myself over £100 down after they nicked it from my account. Apologies made, and money returned, but still it's worth noting.

Happy 125th anniversary. lol

Where the fook do you sit?! Stamford bridge?? Is there even a st that costs 500 quid on renewal?

Behind the dugout just off the centre line.

They always put the 'you can get it for as little as...' spin on it but for people like me, this is a bit of a cheek tbh.

I swear if the prices had just gone up 10% due to our probably promotion to a higher league and the fact we've just made a loss of £14m then no one would bat an eyelid. It's almost as though people are ignoring the fact that there is still the option to get it at the same price (albeit ridiculously early) because they want to get angry about a bit of spin.

I'd rather the club be upfront and honest about it and tell us exactly how it is rather than offer this and that wrapped around a 125th anniversary. The way I see it, if you're not a season ticket holder, and you're looking to get one, you can get yourself a pretty good deal.

However, if you've been a season ticket holder for 10 years or more, are seen as loyal and the like, you'd expect a little bit of slack back. I'm perfectly happy with the price freeze and think that's a great way to do it, but to offer it to March 15? That means most people will be thinking February pay packet to get it paid. Hardly enough time to put money away and save up for a bit.

It's a real kick in the teeth. An extension to mid-April would at least offer a two-month pay packet with which to finance it. But no.

club obviously need the cash soon to keep the bank happy. i don't blame them for doing this; the only danger is that a) we still don't know for certain what league we'll be playing in next season and b) some people may lose their seat as they may not be able to stump up this early for a ST. but anyone who is willing to buy a ST in League One will buy one next season (hopefully in the Championship), so hopefully it won't be too bad. i still retain that our ST prices aren't that bad compared to most teams in the championship. let the L1/K1 migration continue....

p.s. U18s ST is a good idea in the long run. you have to secure support at that age.

£200 for a Season Ticket/£8.69 per game i'm happy with that. Cheaper than seeing a non-league club. (Cheaper than going to see Nuneaton or Hinckley)

And i'm more than happy to buy in March seeing as i'll be 22 by the time new season comes thus getting in as and Under 22 but buying when i'm 21.

My last season as a Under 22 though

Oh well no doubt the season after next there will be a rise in ST prices but even if it's anywhere near £275 (Just The Ticket prices) for and Adult you really cannot complain.

Really good value for money IMO.

I'm sure I remember seeing something about this. My birthday is in Oct and sure there was something meaning i couldn't get the the ST I wanted because you can't change age during the season. I may be wrong though.

Hmmmm I have nothing against the - You must buy before March for these prices to apply policy, Its only 2 weeks wages so not that bothered but if what you are saying is right it's abit wrong, i.e - They are holding us to ransom on deadlines to get cheap prices yet they won't honour it because of ages changes.

Swing and roundabouts I spose, I'm not going to mention it anyway if they say something i'll try and blag it - Say they have may DOB wrong on the computer or something, i'll think of something.

Definitely. I just remember being charged more than I thought for a season ticket because of my DOB. Be wary of it that's all. I agree the price should coincide with the age you are when you buy the ST. Wish my memory was better and could help you out but this was a few years back.

EDIT: I will still be claiming under 21 tickets for the forseable future, no-one checks. I still get asked for i.d so I presume I can pass as under 21 lol

Too early to renew a ST in my opinion as we are in the business end of the current one!

If some cun.t wants my seat in March fair dos.

For 20 odd years of being a ST holder if that the loyalty i get they can shove it up the Arsenal.

I think you need to be under 22 on the 31 August, then you will have to pay adult prices.

With regards to student tickets, expect an announcement in due course.......

Oh well if I had to have an adult ST even at £275 it's still cheap, However I will be abit annoyed if they turn round and say I must commit before March to be eligible for the prices when I still have 3 nearly 4 months of being 21 - I suppose they won't miss £200 but when they are asking for money this early upfront I want a little something back - £75, call it an accumulated monthly bonus, or I will just blag it and say they must have my DOB wrong on the computer I suppose they could ask for ID for proof but if i'm doing it over the phone I might get away with it.

As predicted, season ticket holders were a bit miffed around me last night.

24 hours on and I still think the March 15 deadline is out of order.

Perhaps we should, as fans, demand that the team get us promoted by this date.

So we'll have one from you, then conformation on the OS about six months later? :P

I was planning on going to mainly away games and didn't realise I'd lose my P1 status if I didn't have a season ticket.

So, another season of liver abuse awaits.
