Fosse Boy Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 People who say about the geogrpahical thing are totally right. Being from South East Leicestershire I've always had a deeply ingrained hatred of Kettering and Northampton. But seriously, above anyone else in the world I hate MK fcuking Dons. They are the bane of the modern game and I might actually have a little party when ( ) they eventually go out of business. Franchise scum.
Tommeh Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 I cannot believe Cov are winnning this, they may be a sad deluded bunch of pikey scum but rivals? Let them think that.....The difference in our turnout at Forest and Cov last season was unreal, everyone wanted to be at Forest. Cov's just a teddy bears picnic, if thats a rivalry then fu ck me. Went for Derby after much thought, but special mentions to Leeds, MK Dons and Liverpool

It's bollocks. I know a Chaventry fan and he couldn't give two fcuks about Leicester. I also know a F*rest fan (who I was chatting to about this last night) and he says it's all a facade. They do care about us and always have done. In fact he said that his dad always saw us as the bigger rival than Derby.

Well I know lots of Cov fans who despise us, and I know Forest fans who couldn't give a ****
Fosse Boy Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Well I know lots of Cov fans who despise us, and I know Forest fans who couldn't give a **** Of all our local rivals I always disliked Derby more than F*rest or Chaventry as a kid anyway. Admittedly that's changed and I dislike F*rest more now though.
Unit Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 I hate cov, mainly because me mam's from there and everytime i've had to go i've hated it even more. absolute shit hole full of div's.
Bert Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 I did see a bit of that in appreciation of Dyer's goal at Northampton away. It's not often you see it but that was a quality goal They were probably Leicester fans
Guest Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 They were probably Leicester fans Hadn't thought of that
Ultra Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Liverpool. Every disabled at school used to support them at take the piss out of anyone else who didnt. Too right. They're being paid back now though. Just mention the words "19" and "years" to them.. Hate Leeds too cos of their inbred racist fans. Most teams look at Leeds with contempt. They think they have a "rivalry" with Manyoo but right now, they're barely in the same universe.
Corky Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 I don't "hate" any team. I dislike Derby, not fond of Coventry, Forest are more irritants to me. Of other clubs, don't have time for Man Utd, Leeds and Millwall are vile clubs and never been too keen on Wolves.

Leeds are Manyoo's main rivals didn't you know? I read it in WACCOE, it must be true. Seriously I dislike Leeds with a passion but they simply aren't important enough, even to a 'tinpot' club like ours, to win this poll.

All the United fans I know and hear about (the match attenders) class Leeds as their main rivals with Liverpool and above City.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 I don't hate any of them I dislike some fans of most clubs and that includes LCFC as well. All these clubs, I like to think have fans that are like me who just want to see good quality successful football I've no reason to hate them, I may envy some of their success, especially after the last 5/6 years and I may smile at their misfortune from time to time but I don't hate them. But then I'm from a time when you didn't have segregation and banter was just that banter with no malice or hatred involved and yes you actually applauded good play by the opposition just like you would if it was two 'neutral' teams playing. All hail Davie G Again, "hate" is a bit too strong a word for my liking. I'm much more irritated by some opposing teams (and especially their fans) rather than disgusted by the actual football club(s).In this order, I'd vote for Leeds and Millwall. I like the other Midlands clubs, as they offer plenty of spicy rivalries and good gates and a cracking atmosphere at home games. Think about maybe playing Derby, Coventry and Forest again in the same league next season already... Wicked. And there were a few others that said similar, but I agree. Hate? I was going to select Man Utd, then I thought... no I don't hate their club - they play attractive football and have a proud history. I dislike the glory boy clingers on, but 15 years ago that would have been Blackburn (I always laugh to myself when I remember how many people I used to see IN LEICESTER wearing Blackburn tops... not so many now!) and 20 years ago it would have been Liverpool. I am irritated by team like Wigan, Bolton and Portsmouth though, who, despite having established themselves in the Premiership, still struggle to drew crowds bigger than City unless it's a Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool game.
dandannieldanok Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Man Utd closely followed by Liverpool.
CosbehFox Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Coventry. And I can't stand Portsmouth and Wolves. I hate Coventry. Mainly to do with going there once a week - poxy club, their FA Cup victory was the equilvant of Forest's 'European Cup win', half-full stadium but incredible fickle (they have 5,000 going to Ewood Park tomorrow and had 10,000 at Old Trafford) and it's defo rivarly. Despite being a City boy, I know view it as our derby.
