Dan Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 just a poll to see who really is the most hated amongst Leicester fans
LeeCovFox Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 I can't stand Leeds. Closely followed by Forest and Derby. I don't understand the rivalry with Coventry, they are a West Midland club not East Midland. In fact I was almost oblivious to the rivalry until I moved to South West Leicestershire. I guess its a geographical thing.
Koke Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 Coventry. And I can't stand Portsmouth and Wolves.

I guess its a geographical thing. Definitely is a geographical thing, in the Hinckley area the rivalry with Cov is massive, because everyone in Nuneaton supports Cov. Where I live is much closer to Cov than Nottingham/Derby too that's why I don't really care about them, also they couldn't care less about us so we just look sad for hating them so much.
lavrentis Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 Coventry most, there is a rivalry there as proved of their reaction when we went down <_< . To be honest Derby and Forest are just clubs I dislike. Leeds, Millwall etc are just scum.

Leeds, Millwall etc are just scum. I am not suggesting there is no rivalry there. Clearly there is, it just wasn't one I was aware of until I was exposed to the areas in which it exists. Personally I don't feel it, in fact I always quite liked Coventry when they were a top flight club. I live in Cov now and the Cov fans I know only dislike City out of necessity, not being at the same level as Villa at the moment. The Cov rivalry with Villa is similar to ours with Forest and Derby in that Villa don't much care about Cov so long as Birmingham are closer competitively.
davieG Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 I don't hate any of them I dislike some fans of most clubs and that includes LCFC as well. All these clubs, I like to think have fans that are like me who just want to see good quality successful football I've no reason to hate them, I may envy some of their success, especially after the last 5/6 years and I may smile at their misfortune from time to time but I don't hate them. But then I'm from a time when you didn't have segregation and banter was just that banter with no malice or hatred involved and yes you actually applauded good play by the opposition just like you would if it was two 'neutral' teams playing.
Finnegan Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Why are Cardiff on the list? And why Celtic but not Rangers? I would say, outside of our obvious rivals, Cov, Leeds and Rangers.
Mikey Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Forest. Followed by Derby, Leeds and Newcastle.

Cardiff because they are Welsh and so anti English its unreal. And Celtic not Rangers because Rangers are the UK side of Glasgow which as we are part of UK I would expect more to dislike Celtic than Rangers. If we were in Ireland it would be the other way round.
Lovejoy Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Why are Celtic there but not Rangers Anyway, will always be Cov for me.
Guest Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Derby Mainly cos when I started going to City that was the biggest percieved rivalry. Guess it's kinda stuck with me to be honest, even though nowadays some younger fans see Cov as the big rivalry
Ultra Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Forest and Cov are irritants. But Millwall are a vile club with vile fans. They're a cancer on the game. The sooner they go bust, the better.

I did see a bit of that in appreciation of Dyer's goal at Northampton away. It's not often you see it but that was a quality goal
MC Prussian Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Again, "hate" is a bit too strong a word for my liking. I'm much more irritated by some opposing teams (and especially their fans) rather than disgusted by the actual football club(s). In this order, I'd vote for Leeds and Millwall. I like the other Midlands clubs, as they offer plenty of spicy rivalries and good gates and a cracking atmosphere at home games. Think about maybe playing Derby, Coventry and Forest again in the same league next season already... Wicked.
Raj Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Liverpool. Every disabled at school used to support them at take the piss out of anyone else who didnt. Hate Leeds too cos of their inbred racist fans.
Filbert_Ross Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 i cant stand liverpool, the luckiest team ive ever seen.
