If he got disgruntled it is doubtless because he so rarely got played. Even the waste of space that has been Dickov since he returned, was preferred to DJ and what possible reason was there for that? Dickov has shown no form whatsover despite having more chances than he's ever justified by his form. Pearson has the points to ignore any criticism, I'm well aware of that. But our thin squad is starting to be found out even by ordinary teams. And as a fan seated next to me said today, we're starting to look just like we did at home last season and it's hard to be more dismissive than that. Sadly that doesn't mean there's any chance of DJ returning. Cos he won't. We're lumbered with what we've got by way of reserves.
