On the train home now. Excellent day out, even better win. Didn't think it was a penalty but I could see fook all. Good to meet some new people, Ella had me knackered by the time the penalty came around with an intense game of "cob Filbert Fox"

GAS AGAINST RACISM

Absolute sign.

Crackin day out, really enjoyed the game. Bit nervy towards the end but a top day none the less. Can 't decide between Howard and Bunn for my MOTM, but generally there wasn't a bad performance amongst the team, even Hobbs up until being sent off was having a pretty good game.

Howard's gonna get ya!!

Ooooh-aaaar!

Blanked me Nussul, typical.

Anyway, another great day out. Proper FT gathering on the terrace, no end of fun. Good goal, very well taken by Fryatt after as good knockdown by Steve. Their penalty looked a blatant peno but I didn't think it was a red card myself. Bunn saved it anyway  Although it was a tame effort :giggle: After that we held on well. Once we went down to ten men STEVE was a trojan up front. Worked his bollocks off. Clattered into the keeper miles after the ball had gone  Somehow evading a booking, then offered out their keeper  Howard's gonna get ya! Howard's gonna get ya! :D

Fantastic.

Stand up, for the Champions.

Agree with all of that.

Great win, and a massive win. :chant:

Nice to meet some more people off here.

Howard and Phillips:

Howard dives into him while Phillips is in the aisle of the stand collecting the ball getting a coffee.

Phillips then mouths off somewhat to Howard, who is called over by the ref.

The ref is telling him to calm down, while Phillips continues to berate him. At which point, big Steve has simply had enough of this handbags. 'come over here and say that. Now. Don't ignore me you ****, come over here and say what you were just saying, toe to toe'.

Phillips does not and the Steve is not booked.

Bloody loved it, the big mentalist.

Seems everyone I talked to today could hardly hear me. >_<

No, really, you did blank him. :giggle:

The penalty - stonewall decision: Hobbs was stupid, clumsy and late.

How could you see from where we were?

It's the one thing up that end I saw perfectly. :D

Well not clearly enough says Mr Pearson :D

"I have seen the incident which led to their penalty again. Jack went to clear the ball and it has bobbled. Kerrea Gilbert was also around the area, so it is debatable whether he was the last man. I don't think it was intentional, so hopefully the referee will have a look at that one.

"It was unfortunate. Jack has said to me that he doesn't know how he missed the ball. But I was in line with it and it did take a nasty bobble. It was a difficult surface for the players on both sides to move the ball around on.

Edit to say that it sounds like a peno, but the clumsy and late etc seems harsh ;)

Huge win today. On a personal note that was one of the most enjoyable aways of the season.

Roll on Mk Dons now.

What a terrific result - up there with the best of the season given the circumstances.

The ironic thing is that we looked more likely to extend the lead rather than conceding after going down to 10. They had two shots on goal; one included the penalty.

Howard epitomised our spirit today - he worked so hard and of course he was instrumental in setting up Fryatt's goal.

Despite what others have said in here and elsewhere, it's still a matter of if rather than when...

Magic, absolute magic.

I'll say we even 'deserved' it. Looked more of an attacking threat all second half.

Howard's 1-2 with their goalie. Loved it.

The groundsmen at the end of the game having some argy bargy with the City support. Loved it.

Bunny's save. Loved it.

Pearson's animatics and reaction to the final whistle. Loved it.

Love it, love it, love it!
